Heya! Here's some content update done after this video was uploaded! For your reference: Triple Axel Weapons - Magazine capacity has increased. - Base damage increased for certain weapons. Sniper Weapons - Magazine capacity for the max-level weapons has increased. Sticky Bomb Weapons - Magazine capacity has increased - Base damage increased for certain weapons. Ice Guns - Range and aim angles have increased - The number of rounds it takes for the target to freeze has decreased. Grenade Launcher Weapons - Magazine capacity has increased for certain weapons. Explosive Weapons - Fire damage % has increased. Thunderbolt Weapons - Additional damage % has increased. Hell Poison Weapons - Poison damage duration for Hell Poison weapons has increased. - Damage increased for certain weapons. Tranquilizer Mosin-Nagant - Tranquilization rate has increased. Blackhole Launcher - Base damage and Poison damage increased. Flamer Sniper Rifle I (Lv.3-5) & Flame Sniper Rifle II (Lv.4-5) - Base damage has increased. Shocker Sniper Rifle I (Lv.5) & Shock Sniper Rifle II (Lv.5) - Base damage has increased.

@@anpan6282 While yes, certain substances can burn underwater, it has absolutely no way spreading and can not set a shark on fire no matter how hard you try. A for effort, though.

The Triple Axel Tranq is great because it gives 3x 40% chance to prop if you hit all shots - great for say Tuna.

Triple axel is good if you like close range combat because if all your three shots hit the target at once, you get more damage than even the sniper gun. Your magazine is double that of a sniper gun. You take some damage at close range. But you are actually safer at close range. And even if you can't land all three shots, you can still hit your target with one or two of the three shots.

Plus the final form is very much a demon in the right hands. Same with the death rifle. The higher ammo is amazing if you are good at dodging (though steel netgun is the best cause it lets you harvest so much from large crabs to narwhales.

@@victory8928 Death rifle and blackhole launcher are insanely good too. LOL If you play this game long enough you will start recognizing the movement patterns of all the dangerous fish. So, any powerful weapon will work. The problem with blackhole launcher is that it will be in the late late game until you can get all the material to create it.

I gree with most everything here, good reference video. As for shotgun, Tranq Axel is my favorite early capture option. I had been running tranq rifle, then swapped to tranq launcher, but then stayed on Tranq Axel because the multiple bullets dont seem to wake up the fish, and each does less indivual dmg than the tranq rifle - so you get 3 attempts at a tranq that don't cancel each other out per shot, making it feel much better than the other 2 already good options IMO. Steel Net and Modified Hush blow it out of the water late game though, no question

I liked the effect & it has potential like the sticky bomb variant, but I don't think it's something we'd use on a daily dive basis nor boss fights 😅

@@MeerkatPlaysIndie so I got the gun from a dive wild weapon chest around the time that I was still trying to farm the Giant Trevally fins grind.......... Actually pretty big upgrade from the level 2 guns, requiring wolf eel boss only, so I was thinking deserves honorable mention! Anyways, thank you for the great guides/videos, like and subscribed!

Im kind of curious about the tranq element on axel weapons. Would the 40% be calculated for each bullet or are eat shot 40% as long as they hit. Has there been anyone who tested this? ( I think to test this you just need to shoot at 2-3 different fishes in a single shot and see if they would all sleep or only some. Just started the game and is too poor to try it tho.)

It's actually 40% per bullet so one shot you'll have 40% x3 chances for sleeping fish , almost 1 shot for every big fish(if you luck isn't that bad).The downside is really close range so you risk a chance of getting bitten. This weapon also kinda good at killing non-boss shark too , cuz you can chain sleep with it and shot till it's die
