I purchased the Narwhal S20. I purchased the Roborock FlexiPro and Tineco s7 flexbrush first. Returning those and keeping the Narwhal. Great value for the money and the brush drying is key for me. I had a Tineco s3 and it stopped working after 3 years. Thank goodness these devices have come a long way. Plus the Narwhal has a separate compartment for the cleaning solution. I’ve been able to use it with just clean water. My only concern is where to get more solution.

Rawan you are undoubtedly the best and most comprehensive reviewer of vacuum mops on KZbin! No other channel comes close and I very much appreciate how many vacuum mops you get in for review, keeping up with releases and offering unbiased and straightforward opinions (rather than just regurgitating manufacturer's claims). I imported the S20 pro from the US to the UK and have to agree with everything you mentioned! It's so close to being perfect and makes me wonder how they would improve upon this in the next iteration. Thanks again Rawan!

Hi James. Could I please ask you, how did you import the narwal s20pro to the uk? I'm after one of those but cant find it anywhere. Thank you
@jameseniolaaaАй бұрын
Hi @@marlenenunes7625 I used a freight forwarding service called "stackry". They give you an address (and locker) which you can input when you buy things from the US. Once they receive your bought things, you'll get an email and/or phone notification and then be promoted to pay for shipping to the UK. Shipping goes up with the size and weight of the item(s) and you also have to pay import duties so for the S20 pro it was quite expensive to ship given its weight and size, but worth it IMO

Hi Rawan, thank you for your detailed reviews..it actually helped me sift through the all the units. I am curious, I know moprobo is not a true wet and "dry" vac, but would you recommend it over the narwal over cleaning performance?. I did not see it on this list, so I am sorta torn between the two...The one downside I see in the moprobo is Maintenace cost ... their "detangler" sticks seem to need frequent changes and they are not cheap. Also in your experience between these two what left the floors cleaner and drier at the end after cleaning?
@RawansReviews15 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Fair point about running cost on the Moprobo. Though in theory you *might be able to detangle the hair without having to replace the wands. Might not be as effective, but if you're worried bout running costs, worth a try. Regarding performance; they're both great. Moprobo might have a slight edge. Though it does tend to leave a little bit more water on the floor, so the Narwal would dry much faster (you also have more control over water output with the Narwal)

@RawansReviews27 күн бұрын
Those that have a suction only mode in theory could, but they wouldn't do a great job. Carpet vacs need brushes with hard bristles to agitate the carpet fibers and dig out dirt. These are soft rollers for Harwood floors. So they'll probably pick up some things on the surface of carpets, but probably won't do a great job at more thorough and deep cleaning.

Thank you for the video. Being in Europe, i was going to buy the Flexi Lite, and your video reinforced that. The only thing it doesn't have for me is the anti tangle brush, but the next upgrade would be the H14 or the Rowenta X10 Clean (made in collaboration with Narwal), an european brand. But both costa upwards of 600€, so more than double the flexi lite. For the price différence, i suppose i can spend a few minutes here and there cutting hairs off the brush roll.

Waiting patiently for the Narwal s20 pro to come back into stock so i can use your code to purchase it. I've had the H13 pro for about 8 months now and im about done with it. The cleaning is fine but my biggest gripe that i don't see anyone talking about is opening the dirty water tank to pour out... After taking the tank off the body of the H130 pro, removing the dirty water tank lid is such a PAIN. I have to wedge 3-5 thin metal shims to pry it off. Quite literally is a 5-15 min ordeal. often resulting in dirty water splashing everywhere. This ordeal keeps my fiancé from emptying the machine and deters me from using the machine as much as i would like.

Great video. Why are those that have brush drying of 30 minutes or less colored purple "okay" (e.g. Tineco S6 Stretch) while the Narwal takes 30-80 minutes but is colored green "good"?
@RawansReviewsАй бұрын
Good question. The drying itself is green for the Tineco, but the purple cells are that of the drying time, whereby in my opinion only Narwal is great at that, because it is the only that dynamically adjust the drying time based on the brush dampness. All others dry for a predefined period of time then stop, whether the brush is dry or not. The Narwal is the only one that dynamically extends the drying time and keeps drying until the brush roll is actually dry.

Hi, do you consider the lack of solution dispenser in uwant as a major disadvantage? I'm hesitating wheter to wait for the introduction of narwal in Europe or to grab a uwant, which costs app 200 euro less.
@RawansReviewsАй бұрын
Hi, in absolute value, yes I do think it's a disadvantage. I value convenience, and having a solution dispenser makes things significantly more convenient. Having said, that statement holds true "in absolute value"; when I factor in the price of the UWANT, and the value I get at that price point, then it becomes a different story, and it makes the lack of that feature quite acceptable. So I'd say you want the very best money can buy, that for me would be the Narwal today (though there's no telling when it would be introduced in Europe). If you're happy with a good bang for your buck, then go UWANT. Cheers

Hi Rawan, thank you for this comparison video. Would you say that the traction assist of the Narwal have enough forward force to make it difficult to control and manoeuvre it, especially in pushing it backwards? I’m planning to purchase one for my elderly parents, and I don’t want the unit’s forward propelling to pull a weaker person forward, or create stability issues if it’s hard to pull it backwards.
@engseong857Ай бұрын
Just hoping to get a confirmation on this important info before I pull the trigger on one. Although it does seem like it’s not as bad as the Uwant D100, which seem to have a stronger forward traction/force whereby the vacuum propels forward faster than the Narwal.
@RawansReviewsАй бұрын
Hi there. Sorry for the late reply, it's taking a while to get to all the comments around this Black Friday shopping spree.The force is very minimal (to me at least). I don't see it pulling anyone forward and it's very easy to stop it. But if you let go ever so slightly, it will start moving forward. So I would not imagine either of them should pose an issue for your elderly parents. But of course cannot confirm it a 100% as I don't really have a sense of what would be considered significant force forward for a weaker person. What I tried to do, and I'm not sure if it's any help, is quantify for you how much force the machine puts out. Tied a luggage scale to the handle and it was about 3 pounds of resistance before it started moving forward. Not very scientific, also includes partially the weight of the machine, but I hope it would give you some sort of idea perhaps.

I am strongly leaning towards the Dyad Pro (in the combo set), since as far as I can see it’s the only one of them that comes with additional attachments. I live in a small student appartement, so it’s important for me to be able to reach those narrow spots But 2-6 hours of drying time really sucks
@RawansReviewsАй бұрын
Hey there, what do you mean by additional attachments on the Dyad Pro? And yes indeed the drying is terrible on the Dyad, depending on ambient temperature in your room and humidity levels but it probably would take a couple of hours at least.

Dyad pro combo is a version that let's you make a normal vacuum cleaner out of the engine from the wet dry unit. Similar to Phillips aquatrio. Which of these vacuums works on carpet as well as hardwood floors? To my understanding just the Bissell meets that criteria? Or am I mistaken? What about the narwal S20 or the Uwant?
@RawansReviewsАй бұрын
Ones that have suction-only mode, in theory, can all work on a carpet as they do not dispense any water. How effective they are, however, is a different story. While they might be okay for the occasional clean, I don't think they can deep clean carpets, especially thick and fluffy ones. Neither the brush roll design nor the suction power in my onion are adapted for that.

Correct. Personally I don't think that feature makes that big a difference. You might disagree, but with a lot of the machines that do hot water cleaning, the water doesn't really get hot enough to, in my opinion, yield any benefits. I also question how long the actual hot water is in contact with the brush roll as well, for it be effective. Having said, if you watch the dedicated Narwal review, you see me cleaning the brush roll after cleaning coffee, ketchup, and milk, and the cleaning was very effective, even without hot water. So no, I don't think missing that feature puts the Narwal at any considerable disadvantage.

Hello, so I bought uwant 2 days back. I think its body is fine and looks good. My waste water tank kept saying full only after 2-3 inches of filling. While cleaning brush also I had to empty it twice but the second time it filled a little more. Maybe it gets used to or simply depends on more solid waste that’s on the filter. We have laminated floors. Dry old stains (particles) of food stuck on floor doesn’t come out Even when I went over it 20times… have to scrub with hand …maybe it’s tougher than dry ketchup. Update: Bathroom tiles get cleaned well… even stuck stuff (eventually) The good thing is one tank, easy refill and emptying. Also the sterilization mode when taken back to the charger. Can we change the duration. It seems to go one forever! Update: pressing water output button I could do short duration brush cleaning and then sterilization starts which is not too loud so ok. The pushing forward is easy but takes a lot of effort to do push pull Actions as the force is driving it forwards. But maybe that’s with all vaccums. This is my first time using one. Also in Germany the house are small so there is not much one direction pushing 😅 It’s just been 2 days since we got it. Earlier we had a robot so this will need some getting used too. My main reason was cleaning under table messes and once in a while whole house moping. For half the price go with it! But I wonder if @Dreame cleans laminate better. I would not know…unless they send me one 😂

Uh? You say that the S7 Pro has no air drying but their website states that it does have that. It's just not hot air drying. Also I wouldn't count the autodispenser as a pro. Auto dispensers are never good, no matter the applicance. Several studies have shown that auto dispensers in washing machines use more detergent than they should and even when you specify the quantity you want to use, they rarely respect that. The goal is obviously to make you buy more detergent and the technology simply isn't reliable enough.
@RawansReviews15 сағат бұрын
It's centrifugal drying, which mainly relies on spinning the brush roll fast to "dry" it. While it might reduce the amount of water, it certainly does not dry the brush roll. As for the auto dispensers, these are different than those in washing machines. Solution lasts for weeks. If anything I've found them not to use enough solution.
