What distances does it remain as clear as it was up close? because it looked like the distance wasnt very far before stuff was blurring in your review video... most cameras are clear when they are point blank.

Hi, I’ve just received the one I purchased, same make and model, I’ve set up the app and camera and found that easy enough using KZbin for instructions, however, no matter where I place it unless my phone is side by side with it, it’s losing connection. I’m sure I’m probably doing something wrong, I know it only connects to phone WiFi and my phone automatically connects to my home WiFi, and while the camera works for a short period it seems to be connected to 4G and the cameras own WiFi? But then it loses connection and is very difficult to get to reconnect? I’m not very tech savvy so if there’s anything you might be able to advise me on I’d be very grateful, please and thank you, 😊

I have the same issue, it's a piece of garbage to be fair. It doesn't capture any images at all during the night time, the Infa red doesn't come on and its just a dark image. Real let down.

@@robatkin7580 I actually managed to get videos of a fox, a blackbird and a couple of stray cats in my garden, but yes, it was only in black & white, it’s a bit of a nightmare having to literally take the camera in to check it out, I was hoping I could view in real time from the app but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I wasn’t getting anything until I changed the settings to video only, as the time lapse between photo and video appears to have been enough for any wildlife to have moved out of range? I’m hoping as I get a little more used to it I’ll find a better location/angle for it, for instance, I’ve found that placing it lower to the ground made some bit of a difference, in that, prior to, I was getting nothing on it. Originally I had it placed about 2’ high, now I have it about 1’ or thereabouts. I would like to think I could get colour images though, and better quality pictures. If I manage to work any of these issues out I’ll update, but for now I’d have to agree with you, it’s not what I was hoping for and not as responsive as advertised. 🤔

Do you know what distance the wifi covers? I want to put this 100 feet from the house, and still be able to check it from my phone inside.

I have mine about 15m / 49ft from the house. It connects ok from that room - but I find line of sight works best. Any obstructions does slow it down and make the connection intermittent.

My experience is that no matter where I’ve placed it, (even attaching it to outside the window of the room I want to observe from!) the connection is lost immediately. To check it, I have to literally go out and take it in, side by side with my phone, which defeats the original purpose of my purchase as, like you, I hoped I’d be able to observe from indoors. Unfortunately that has never been possible without bringing the camera in.
