Are you still using this windshield ? If yes, then how is the feedback ? I was using the carbon racing windshield ( the new one ). But sadly it only lasted for an year !!! as it can't handle bad roads, bcz of which crack developed !

Yeah bro, this is fine as new and I have no issues since the day I fitted it. But I think you can have the new gen himalayan windshield fitted to your bike for a cheaper price with the additional mounts .

@RoshanSridhar got the windshield as advised .you used only the headlight screws to hold the windshield and did not use the additional hole provided correct ? Is that sufficient ? I see additional nuts with it and we can ignore them right ?

It's as good as the stock windscreen if not better. I don't feel any vibration......Fitment is also very easy. Diy at your home. Some people recommend me for the himalayan visor too. Take a look at that too....that setup is roughly 1000-1200 rs only. Or have you already installed the Puig windscreen?

After installing, How is the windblast on your arms? Is there more windblast from the sides?

No nothing as suh. There is no additional windblast due to the windshield on my arm. But this windshield's range is limited to your body alone. It won't protect your arms . Try Carbon Racing Windshield as well. They are good too. I have installed it on my Classic 350. Video is in my channel

The windscreen in this video is not from royal Enfield...this is from Puig.. stock Interceptor windshield is shorter than this

I think what he is asking (and I am also wondering) is: will the Interceptor's _stock_ windscreen fit on the Himalayan? Because you mention this Puig screen goes on the Interceptor with no changes - so if the stock Interceptor screen fits on the Himalayan, then this Puig screen will also fit on the Himalayan. (Transitive property of congruence.)

Hehe I am confused myself....but I will try to Answer from what I understood. In order to fit himalayan stock windshield to Interceptor. You need specific mounts for it. Which is not available with RE. Same way vice versa. If you want to fit stock Int650's windshield to Himalayan. It won't fit by default. You need to find the right mounts in the market. Am sure you will find it...or u can make.one at the steel shop. Not a big deal. I have seen InT650 s stock windshield on RE Thunderbird . Coming to Puig ...this windshield in the video is made specifically for Int650 headlight. This is exactly similar to Himalayan stock So would be a no brainer to attach this on a himalayan. This windshield is almost 4 times costlier than himalayan stock...

Hi Roshan. Thanks for the video, it inspired me to get the same windshield for my Interceptor. I would like to ask though, do you see the top edge of the windshield vibrate at low RPMs? I find mine vibrates at about 1500. It doesn't make any noise though so its not a bother.

Hi bro, it would also depend on you're inclination with you have fitted it. If it v straight it might vibrate ..haven't tried it that way. Mine is a bit inclined towards the rider. I haven't noticed this thing cos it doesn't seem v prominent while riding. But there are good chances of top vibrating a bit as this does not have My support on the middle or top part of the windshield

@@RoshanSridhar thanks for replying man. Yes my windshield is quite upright and I did notice that it vibrates on top only at 1200 - 1500 rpm range, not while riding so its not a bother. Anyway thanks for reviewing this product. Your video and a suggestion from a fellow Interceptor rider helped me close in on this product.

Boss do you feel any kind of weird feel at your rear end Of bike, specifically at rear wheel, some kind of loosened noise do appear while I ride without pillion..

Many Interceptor owners have complained of rear wheel wobbling. I didn't face any. That might be one issue . If I attach top box to my Interceptor ..and if I leave both my hands in air. Then the wobbling is just too much and I would crash if I dnt hold the handle back under 5 seconds

@@RoshanSridhar Yes Brother my brother owns a 2019 Gt 650 and above 150 he says the bike loses control, he changed the tyre and rims to upside down ones from the dominar, and the bike feels more good now

After installing it do you face wind blast on the helmet and noise inside the helmet because of that ?

It has reduced than the stock setup. Wind blast is manageable till 120 kmph. If you have wind deflector in your helmet, then wind noise will be less. This windshield doesn't affect your helmet in any way. Wind buffeting is also less compared to stock. But this being a naked motorcycle , wind blast is inevitable

Hi bro, this is slightly taller than himalayan windshield. This costed me 4k. I suggest you to go for the new 2021 himalayan windshield if you can get or the old. The entire setup with mounts will cost you only 1500 max. Also look at the Carbon Racing Windshield. That's the moat tallest of them all. See my classic 350 carbon Racing Windshield if you want to. You will get a better idea. But yeah I don't suggest you to.buy this at this cost. Cheaper options available

Sorry for the late reply. The part nos is 0869x. It's called touring windscreen for Interceptor 650. This is approximately 60$ in price. I would suggest you also look at the Himalayan windshield. That is a lot cheaper. You just need to buy the brackets to mount it.

Hi, IMO.Himalayan windscreen would do the similar job..in Rs.600.

I have mentioned about the himalayan windshield in my review, you need additional clamps to fit it to the Interceptor or u need to make a hole in your headlight to fit it. And Puig Windshield is taller and wider than the himalayan and is a direct fit for the Interceptor. But it's ones personal choice to go for any of them 🙂Cheers
