Love the Bentley and dead on it is a gem. It has been an evolution of learning to love this scent. Over a year ago I thought it was pretty dark... a.k.a. the hit man scent... you smell it and you know your end is near. I am now seeing it as a usable dark scent with a little sweetness... went from dark to deep. Great list.

True, it's funny sometimes when you wear something and at first it just doesn't work but then you re-visit and love it, it happened to me time and time again with certain scents... A great part of this journey!

Dior Homme Parfum is an amazing winter fragrance, in my opinion. It has the lasting power and its dark character just fits cold weather. Plus, it's just gorgeous outdoors when the wind is blowing.

Great list Max. LIDGE is a little too much of a dusty citrus on my skin due to that cacao, but Bentley Absolute is just awesome. Bang on mate.

My top 5, Winter: 1. Creed Royal Oud - Great in Cold 2. TF Oud Wood 3. TF Tobacco Vanille 4. Jazz Club by Maison Margiela 5. Apple Brandy by Kilian Really like By the Fireplace also, great Holiday fragrance. Recently got a sample of Apple Brandy, been wearing it a lot. Will be my Christmas SOTD.

Very nice choices man, love my vintage lidge, i been waring Bentley absolute a lot too this winter, quality juice, i just sold my prada intense it was a blind buy and hated it lol, rocking chergui today on this cold day here!

I like every one of your picks, except the amber intense simply because I have never tried that one... my number one could very well be the same as yours... that fragrance is one of the best.. The performance is insane, and it has gotten me a ton of compliments.. Plus it is super unique.. great list

Top three are really tough to find. Gucci limited production on Intense Oud, Prada discontinued Amber Intense and Guerlain blew the reformulation of Lidge. They would ll be high on my list if they were available. Might as well add YSL M7, Gucci Pour Homme and Fahrenheit Absolute to the list as well!

Man I have OG lidge. My neighbor had a garage sale and usually I never go to them and he had it on sale for $25 for 75 percent full. Bought it right away. But it’s to damn strong lol. I get a headache within 30 minutes cuz it’s massive projection. One spray will literally fill up your room. I had multiple people smell it and they had to wash it off including me lol. I disagree with people who spray in the air and walkthrough it. But this is literally that strong.

Hey Max, I've had your #2 Prada Intense in my collection for years. I love the dark patchouli type smell, but longevity is an issue for me. Almost like it has a niche gate on it. Your intro screams NY, but you always mention NE winters in your reviews? Looking forward to your niche winter list. Please make it ones we can find.
