You obviously have nearly no knowledge of the needs of serious woodturners; no idea what makes a great lathe and certainly no idea what the market offers. Makes me wonder who paid you and how much to pick the lathes that you have the nerve to call "BEST". I guess you never heard of Oneway, Vicmarc, Robust, Laguna, Powermatic, Record, Axminster, etc. Hmmmmm........did you justify leaving out ALL of the really good lathes by assuming they are just too expensive? ALL of them are less expensive than a snowmobile, a jet ski, an ATV or many other toys bought by millions. You really wet the bed on this one.
