Super slept on dropshot bait, hard to find them places but they are the goat. KVD Dream shot are very similar & see them more in places. Probably the #1 confidence bait for numbers, let’s just say size is a different story 😂

Matt, saw some of your stuff on TT and followed you here, specifically your drop shot stuff. Never used anything but a Zoom 4" Finesse worm and lately a ZMan Trick Shotz in my first year drop shotting. I caught a ton on the Zoom and not so much with the Trick Shotz. The Glitch looks good. I nose hooked all of my drop shot baits. In particular the straight hook you threaded on, it may work well in the Winter when the bass want less action but, I suppose the baits becoming more rigid in cold water will take care of any action. I think I might try the Glitch, the Strike King Dream shot wasn't a big winner for me and the tails tended to curl in the packaging also. I look forward to more of your DS videos!

For the rod i use a 6th Sense USA Custom rod. The rod is a 7’0 medium, mod-fast action. It’s a fairly light action rod. It’s a higher end rod, but worth it to me for a drop shot. Another good one that’s cheaper is the 6th Sense Lux spinning rod. Use code Luna10 if you buy from 6th Sense!

The USA Custom is marked as a medium but it has a softer tip than some medium rods. The Lux model isn’t as light as the USA Custom. I’d say it’s closer to a true medium. You can go wrong either way. If you can afford the higher end rod for a drop shot, I’d recommend it. If you can’t, then the Lux is a great option.

Why should we buy this instead of say a magnum dream shot? What makes this better?

They are very similar baits. Somewhat different profiles, but overall similar. I think you should give them a shot to see if you feel they are better or not. Maybe they have a color in the glitch that is different than what you can get in the dream shot.

@@MattLunaFishing I used to use a magnum dream shot as a finesse chatterbait trailer on a minimax chatterbait. These look equally good for that. Wide flat bottom reduces the chatterbait rolling on its side coming over a snag, and the bulbous tail has great kicking action.
