Great show, Juck. Turning around your opinion on Indiana, I love it 😂 Also, I'm not sure I get the issue of going after a starting level QB in the portal. I'm pretty sure it was Zach and Kris who said Day should've done that the year with McCord like Ole Miss did with Dart and the Oklahoma State QB. As long as they have the funds to do it, I say go get a dude and have him and Sayin battle it out.

I'm saying if they could bring in a Jackson Arnold or Miller Moss (just using these names as examples) they could battle for the job and push Sayin. I'd rather find out if there is a better option in camp than during the season. I think if we would've gotten a Hudson Card or Devin Leary, we could've had a better option than McCord. But I agree, Day is not turning Ohio State into the 1st round QB factory we thought he would.

It’s not passed the final process yet so those kids are still being offered as preferred walk ons. Next year those guys who make up roster spots 86-105 will either have a partial scholarships or full scholarships. If it’s a player you really want, he’s getting a full scholarship. If it’s a “walk on caliber player” he will get a partial. Or if the school is generous, they can for them all a full scholarship which I hope they do. This is a big benefit. Those guys would formerly be getting nothing.

22:00 this will be the reason they add a couple of more teams and there will be no bye. All teams will be seared by rankings. Only thing conference champions will get is a spot in the playoffs. Only reason Arizona and Boise would make it if not in the top 16

What's helped oregon this entire time is USC not being able to get it right. Once usc gets their head out of their u know what those so cal kids going to oregon will slow down big time. Oregon has a window because they do not have great hs play up there. Once u see usc succeeding u will see oregon dip.

So Juck one thing that I think you are letting the Committee get a pass on is its inconsistent moving of the goal post. They change the narrative to fit however it will benefit their goals. Last year Georgia was left out after losing the SEC championship game. The year before that Utah knocked USC out in the Pac12 championship game. So why is it out of nowhere now conference championship game losses mean nothing? I would urge you to look at the odds to win the title before and after selection Sunday. The committee pinning Oregon vs potentially Ohio State in the second round eliminates one of the B1G's two best odds to win it all . After seeing their path Vegas has Moved Texas and Georgia as the betting favorites to win it all. My argument is if you gave Ohio State or Oregon Penn State's or Texas's path they would surely be the odds on favorite to win it all. They gave the B1G team with the third best odds the easy path to avoid giving it to Ohio State or Oregon. And they did it with the Narrative of not punishing teams for losses in conference championship games

I think they are hitting the reset button and setting new president. I agree it has been inconsistent. I disagreed with USC getting knocked out after losing the pac12 champ game. At least im consistent lol. I understand your beef with the seeding but we can blame this on the horrible format. If Boise and and ASU did not have the bye then Oregon would be playing the winner of Indiana and Boise. Penn State would be playing the winner of ND-ASU. If the format was proper and it will be soon, this all makes perfect sense. As for the odds on faves matching up, it sucks for the B1G fans but I hate that being used in these discussions. That has propped up the sec in these arguments for decades. As for Georgia last year, different argument. Both teams in the argument were playing the 13th game against eachother. Both had one loss after the game and Bama won head to head. Proper call. My problem is with teams not playing, not earning the right to play getting a benefit from a team who earned the right to play and lost. A team that now has a disadvantage of less rest and a 17 game road.

Watching the coaching, QB, passing game & special teams, it threw me backward. I said today I would just let it go, & hopefully, we make a run. Giving players time to develope in this nil era is no longer a thing if the kid is not willing wait and put in the work or maybe the kid just isn't good enough. We need to get out of this old school way of thinking in cfb. Every year rosters will change, coaches need to do whatever they can to put a team together to win a natty. The michigan rivalry will also change because even though they only played once this yr there will be times we play them twice maybe 3 times in a season. This is the new cfb world.
