Thank you so much!!! We had reservations on the Wonder for a inside stateroom and I was thinking about upgrading to a deluxe inside because the ocean view was just out of our budget. After watching this I thought I would look for a secret porthole room and just my luck there was only 1 available. I called my travel agent and she moved my reservation. You are a God send! I just booked on the Magic since its arriving in Australia in 2023 and iam so excited. we are on deck 7, super close to the elevators at the Aft, but when its selling super fast, you just gotta choose fast, it sold super fast in Australia. happy to know we made a good choice staying away from adjoined rooms.

I'm also from Sydney but have been on the Disney Magic 3 times. I agree outside rooms are best - but we always choose to stay low mid ship - always deck 2 mid ship for us as I get sea sick and found this to be an ideal location (and cheaper). Can't wait for October 2023

The ADA cabins 8100, 8102, 8600, 8602 are the worst cabins on the Magic for two reasons. First, the crew start setting up Cabanas, one deck above at 4:00 AM, by drag tables across the floor. Second, The Veranda is directly below Cabanas, one deck above and people stand along the wall and look directly down on your Veranda. You can almost touch the people on the Cabanas rail from your veranda. Somebody from the cabanas rail accidently spilled coffee on my wife while she was sitting on the Veranda. Avoid these cabins at all costs

We were on the Magic in September. My best advice is to watch those vlogs as that will give you a realistic version of what to expect. I also share tips and tricks throughout those videos.

One recommendation, request for your dining rotation to START with Rapunzel's Royal Table. That is the only dinner show. I find that it's easier to experience that the first night when everyone is fresh.

I have a GTY ocean view cabin and am wondering what the odds are of getting upgraded? Sail on 1/19 out of Galveston. Also have you heard if the AFT is going to cause more motion sickness? I have heard front and rear of ship are more motion, etc. thanks for another great video. You are the best!

Typically you are upgraded within the same category. Ex. we booked a 7A GTY and got a 4E. Doesn't mean upgrades don't happen, but they are not common.

I think that’s a good stateroom. We were assigned 6654 through a GTY. It was an accessible cabin so we had no bathtub, but the room was huge and balcony even larger. But that was just luck. At first we were disappointed we wouldn’t have a bathtub (& 2 bathrooms) but then we saw the room

It really depends on what’s available and promos they are running. A GTY rate is usually cheaper but you don’t get to pick your stateroom. But they won’t put you in a stateroom that doesn’t sleep 5.

It’s a standard inside room more forward but still near stairs. See if you can move to 7541, which shows available and is more mid-ship. It’s the same category, so they should be able to move you.

So that’s an inside all the way forward. It will be a walk to get anywhere, but the Magic isn’t a huge ship, so shouldn’t be too bad. Now if you are prone to motion sickness that could be a problem being that far forward if you get some rough seas. We are in 5020 later this month. I like that it’s close to the Oceaneer Club.

Yes! We had 6654. It’s amazing! So much space. Just be aware that it is a handicap accessible stateroom so there is no bathtub. I have a video of our stateroom on my channel
