If you start up your save file in Nier Automata again, you will play through it all over again as 9S. Once you beat that start up your save file again to do the last play though, and then you’ll have the full story.

You HAVE to see the other endings of NieR Automata. Because it's not so much a see the other endings kind of thing. If you stop in ending A or B you are just missing the second half of the game and the story

Fire Emblem Three Hopes was personally really fun for me because of the characters and story alone. Everyone was still really fun and entertaining, and this game was an opportunity to explore alternative storyline to Three Houses, and it was really cool to see mentioned characters from Three Houses actually have real models and voices ! Warriors style games are definitely not the most entertaining (though I kind of like them a good amount), and I have definitely fallen asleep sometimes while playing, but overall, I really enjoyed it 😬

I really liked Shez. Thought he was a pretty cool protagonist. I just really wish that after hinting so much about his mysterious mother in the support conversations that they released a story DLC cause the game seemed like it was begging for it.

Shez is by far the best avatar in the series, love them. I’d propose you to raise the difficulty to hard or maddening and really get into all the cool abilities from putting units in weird classes and bringing them over to what said character does best

Based Triangle Strategy take. In a year with a shit ton of good games, including Splatoon 3, Triangle Strategy came out of nowhere to be my favorite of the year. Highly recommend playing it, it’s phenomenal.

If 3 Hopes was a traditional Fire Emblem and really dived into the theory of Arval being an Agarthan made deity made to specifically combat Sothis with spacial powers, I might’ve liked it as much as 3 Houses… even though it basically means creating a whole new game lol

I personally think what keeps me coming back to Three Hopes is just how replayable everything is. Three Hopes NG+ completely dumpsters House's NG+, and for so many different reasons. ~ The Vanguard Whistle allows you to completely skip required levels to advance the story at a hyper-rapid pace. ~ Maddening is genuinely really difficult with Low-Level units. ~ You get to keep all the Weapons and Gear you collected in the previous routes. ~ Your Development Level carries over, so downtime in camp is minimized. ~ You can make characters learn and grow into weird classes with very little consequence for doing so. (if anything, you can only gain by doing it) ~ You can play as any character you've unlocked in ANY ROUTE and use them in levels with the Record Keeper. ~ Merc Whistle + Ferdinand = PROFIT. ~ Gatekeeper is unlocked as a playable character for beating all the routes. I'm probably forgetting something, but yeah I think if you tried a Golden Wildfire NG+ run, I'd say you'd probably like it a lot more now that you can cut the fat.

I'd argue Sylvain's Gordian Strike is better if using it with Shez especially with the Dark Creator sword to make the combo count skyrocket, but agreed nonetheless.

There could certainly be improvements, but I thought Three Hopes was quite a refined version of the combat system. I think his problem might be similar to Xenoblade 3, both Three Hopes and Xenoblade 3 are much better if you play them on a higher difficulty.

The issue is that it has to be done right. I think a lot of people say the combat is boring and repetitive because they haven’t played the right game. A lot of them are bad and repetitive but they are amazing when done well

On the Scarlet Blaze route of Three Hopes I just dominated everything with Manuela as a Gremory because I decided that eff this, she was my favorite in Three Houses, I'm gonna stick mostly with her even if she's bad. Between her amazing personal skill, batshit insane stats and the magic classes being really fun if you know what you're doing, it was a blast. I missed her terribly in the other routes, especially Golden Wildfire where none of my top 3 were available (Manuela, Catherine, Jeralt (killed him and Byleth to see what would happen)), but overall I still had a bunch of fun. Especially Scarlet Blaze, that even managed to somehow make me gain interest in geopolitics despite originally not being into politics at all lmao.

I really liked Fire Emblem Three Hopes actually. I dunno, it's strange cause I'm usually not interested in Warriors games but this one was pretty fun. All three routes were quite enjoyable to me and it didn't feel quite as "turn your brain off" as you claim it to be.

Just finished P5R yesterday after 112 hours, and here you are dropping your thoughts on it 😅. I agree completely with the absurdity of the Okumura fight - absolutely no fun to be had, and I had to change the difficult to be able to beat this fight. Same with the final secret boss of Royal - got wrecked by an attack that definitely shouldn’t have taken me out, only to find out there’s a hidden turn count that wipes you out if you take too long. The game as a whole, though, was definitely awesome.

Did you beat the super boss on hard max level in xenoblade 3? Or played on hard at all? Cause I don’t think we played the same game and I was changing strategy to overcome challenges pretty often The game is very mindless on normal and below I think overall it’s a very solid game and the hero quest and story was very good. The best structure, pacing and combat in the series so I dunno how it’s underwhelming Maybe it was a safe entry in the series I agree but it wasn’t near “underwhelming”

21:14 That one is a *masterpiece*. The kind of game that doesn't make you sad when you lose your save file, because that means you can play it again ( I speak from experience ). Also, the DLC is really good. Definitely recommend it if you want more after finishing the main story, it is peak CrossCode.

@@mmelo7832 The combat, boring ? Weird, especially since you stopped where you get the first "spice" of its combat, ie access to multiple Combat Arts. It's definitely far from when combat starts expanding, which happens midway into the first dungeon, but it's not barebones either

A few thoughts: SHORT HIKE SWEEP BABY (better than BotW) R.i.p. the book you would have bought instead of Pokemon Violet :( I didn't know about the "Nintendo Seal of Quality" before this video, and I can see why. Great metaphors, favorites are Missingno = Splatoon, homophobic dog, smiley Roomba, and chessboard flip. MHS2 took an annoying feline sidekick character and made it an even more annoying feline sidekick character. Cat slander is real.

If you thought that Xenoblade 3 didn't require strategy then you most likely played it on Normal mode. It is a very different experience on Hard (until you unlock lucky 7)

Respectfully, I think some of your points about Three Hopes are kinda wack. Your point that all the routes are bloated is kinda nonsensical. On *first playthrough*, sure, any of the routes can be around 35-40 hours, but once you hit NG+, you're given the Vanguard Whistle which cuts down how bloated the other two routes are by a significant margin by skipping mini-missions. If your Scarlet Blaze playthrough 35-40 hours, then Azure Gleam and Golden Wildfire will be like 10-15 using the Vanguard Whistle. Not only that, but all camp progress you made during one route carries over into the next, cutting down even more filler between major story battles. Also, the characters not having interesting to say between battles is untrue, there's a ton of world-building and nice character writing that can be extrapolated from 95% of the dialogue. Even implying that it's akin to Engage is extremely disrespectful for no reason.

You did not finish Automata in the slightest. You still have a pretty big chunk of the story to actually go through. The best way to think of Niers story is that it's separated into 3 acts, acts 1 and 2 being the same story told from different perspectives while act 3 being a continuation of the story from acts 1 and 2. Same with the endings, A and B are the ends of acts 1 and 2 while C-E are the endings of Act 3, with the ending in act 3 being down to a choice you make within the final hour of the game.

No February is never too late for a 2022 video 🙏 I played royal a few years ago on my sister's ps5 when she basically forced me into it one summer lol .... no good goro was my favorite part what a punk. I wouldn't quite call it a favorite game but I did enjoy it. Still prefer devil survivor, now that's a game 🙏 My favorite this year was 1000% kirby but I also started professor layton and that ruined my life /pos also 3 hopes which was sooooo fun. Linhardt and Shez's A support, instant 5/5 stars. Really fun video !! Your opinions don't exactly align with mine but I respect your takes and I like hearing your perspective

You are missing out on like half of the Nier Automata. Each “ending” is like a chapter ending. If you reload the save file you get new story and a new ending. The last ending is COMPLETELY new story.

I don't know if you've played it yet but Outer Wilds is really good. It's an open world(s) space exploration game. If you do decide to play it I recommend knowing as little as possible about it as your progress is solely dependent on your knowledge.

On the Three Hopes debate, (firstly, based for using Constance and Jeritza. Mercedes crying in the corner for not bringing her along) you should definitely try a harder difficulty like hard or maddening, there you can actually feel the difference all the cool abilities make, and it asks for lots more strategizing from the player. Same for Xenoblade too, it sounds like you played it on easy mode. It’s by far the deepest combat in the series

2 have many many issue. If japanese anime stereotype is too much well don't try it. Xenoblade 2 is m'y favorit of the serie but even I admit It's weakness. Xenoblade 3 is between 1 and 2 gameplay wise, story wise and style wise. However despite the antagonistes who are a bit lame Xenoblade 3 story are great (in my opinion).

You can safely skip 2. There's a lot of good to be found in 2 but the bad stuff is almost entirely front loaded so it makes an awful first impression. Also, in the grand scheme of things, the references to 2 in 3 are not all that important, would you get more out of the game from playing 2? Sure but it's far from essential. 3 does its own thing. 3 is fantastic, has some negatives but I disagree with most of them in this video, play it on hard and you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of the gameplay. In terms of tone 3 most resembles the original.

I also find warriors games really repetitive But p5 Strikers let's you use personas in it and that actually makes the gameplay a bit more interesting I'd recommend at least giving the beginning of the game a shot and see how you feel about it ^^ The writing's also super great too
