My husband has the Grooming bag and use it to travel. He really loves it. I returned my HerBag I couldn’t stand the stiffness of the opening. The Picotin and the Evelyne, are and will always be, my favorite entry level bags. I just love that they are not pretending to be something else than very simple and casual bags that are easy to use. The In The loop does nothing to me, there’s something about it that is too formal but at the same time not formal enough. I don’t know how to express it. 😂

I agree, Picotin and Evelyn are their own thing and I love them for it. Herbag reminds me a bit of a less nice Kelly, I know I would just be wistful for a Kelly if I got one. Picotin makes me smile every time I see it on others, it’s just so cute.

I actually love the low-key vibe of the leather Garden Party 30, especially with a twilly on the front handle. It takes an outfit from casual to “power casual.”

As a horse person, the Picotin is fashioned after a nose bag, the HAV/Evelyn after tack bags/carriers and grooming kit bag respectively

Hi GPS, was just looking for the in the loop bag and came across the video.. I know you have this grooming bag but I just think it is one of the things people who want a piece of Hermes just buy out of desperation. To me it looks cheap and yes it is more accessible but the garden party especially the canvas version in the right colour combination is a better option as a work bag for those of us who now have to carry our surface pro's to work. It is also discrete , whereas the grooming bag has Hermes written on it which TO ME is tacky. My opinion

Thank you for showing love to the Victoria! The Paris Bombay (discontinued), the Victoria and the Plume are actually mmy favorite Hermes bags. I'm not very excited by their current line up of bags though.

Totally agree with you about the in the loop bag over the Picotin! Just wish they had put feet on it, but that would probably interfere with the Chaine d'Ancre aesthetic. Do you know when Hermes releases the 2024 seasonal colors??

Garden Party 36 in leather is my work horse, holds my laptop and kindle which is necessary for a tech worker. I am not a fan of the GP in canvas. I like how strong the GP in leather is and it’s so easy to toss my laptop into it without fussing with zippers and flaps. I found the opening of the other alternatives are hindering me.

Great video. I’ve been interested in the Garden Party as a replacement to my LV Neverfull. Also the Picotin and Evelyn have been on my with list as well but I will look into your recommendations. I think I’ll pull the trigger in 2024. 🤞🏾

Tried the grooming bag. It's so heavy even when the bag is empty. If I use a canvas bag, I prefer a lightweight garden party.

Love my black canvas garden party 36 but I agree - it’s strictly a casual bag for me. I’ve debated a leather 30, but just never pulled the trigger for some reason. I think you might be right and that it just suits the casual canvas better.

Put an order to get a 36 garden party to carry my laptop or take with me as travel bag. Checked the Victoria bag to see if I should change my mind.. still not sure. Victoria bag is like baby (vintage style) suitcase. Not sure if it will be comfy to carry on the shoulder when laptop is in🤔

My most used casual bag is the TPM. I got rid of my evelyne PM. I’m 5’1, the PM is just too big for me. The TPM is soo perfect for my size. I have thr black and nata ❤

I was told by a sales associate that the one that has more of the coded canvas field. It's shiny on the Herb zip 31 that it breaks down overtime and to get the military canvas. Do you recommend the military canvas with the pattern mixed in it or solid color.

I respectfully disagree entirely! love the garden party. I have a 36 which I bought pre-loved at a good price. Still too expensive to use as a gym or beach bag!!!! It certainly doesn’t drag down my look. It’s chic and understated and at 6’ tall, a good size on me. Saying there are ‘more refined’ options basically translates to more expensive. Not everyone can afford Kelly or Birkins so calling what is in effect a really expensive bag ‘entry level’ is disingenuous.
