Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. I'm totally with you, I never wear anything higher than a kitten heel and only then if I'm not walking anywhere. My experience of people being more active these days is the opposite of yours though. I am 53 and pretty much walk all the time even the 5 miles to work in the morning, however everyone I work with, young and old think I'm a crazy lady for walking anywhere. 😂
