I can not wait to see how meshing will change things ! But i also got to say that i would like to hear more about plans for fixing current ships. Starfarer, Reclaimer, etc. need reworks and many fixes. Ladders that don't work as they should, cargo is frequently lost due to "issues" and so on. I just dont want to make the mistake of hyping my self by getting blinded with future things and forget about what we have to deal with on a daily basis until "something at some point" happens.

Freelancer mk2 needs to happen! Fix that turret, fix pilot view, middle storage and make a really nice living area! 🎉

@@feliksbus7713 Because the original is in SQ42 so it would mess up the lore if they updated it. Having a MK II makes the most sense and I bet they would sell like hot cakes compared to the firebird.

​@@feliksbus7713 one of the original ideas was to show the progression of ship design throughout the game and have newer models of ships while the older ones are still usable in game. Similar to how we see cars from 30-60 years ago still on the road. The older models, not being a current design, won't be available to buy just how those older cars aren't available at a dealership today. This doesn't mean that they won't be unusable as they will be updated with up to date gameplay in mind, and that there will should be other ways in game to earn the ships once those eventually come online.

I’d be very hesitant to make “Mk 2” anything a thing. I hate that it’s a thing already, even with only the Hornet. I hope you can see how slippery of slope that be in terms of transactions. Have you ever played Madden or FIFA? Every few weeks the same players get a slightly better updated card, and people pay through the nose to get them for any Competitive advantage they can get. It’s pay to win, and it’s predatory as all fuck. That could be Star Citizen if “Mk 2” becomes a regular fixture.
