A wonderful, non-creasing (I have oily lids too) dupe for the Cailyn eyeshadow pencil is La Biosthétique's eyeshadow pen in Smoky Topaz! They're a really great French/German line with super comfy, pigmented makeup that's also great for sensitive skin. It's a harder-to-find brand, but worth checking out for sure!

Nyx proof it, Cover Girl lock it and the Rimmel eye primer are great ones. The Rimmel Crimson is a great alternative to the UD cherry palette. I am in love with the spice palette (Heat dupe.) Does Rimmel have a spy at UD? The Wow and Jewel palette look a lot like the elements palette.

Noooooo! No pantine shampoo and conditioner! I am a hairdresser and it is my #1 DO NOT USE product! Use thier styling products if you wish but not the shampoo and conditioner! Its breaks down your hair to make it feel softer and coats it in cheap wax that you can actually scrape off the hair after extended use. Please do not promote pantine shampoo and conditioner, it is actually detrimental to the actual structure and health of the hair!

I'd like to know a good drug store brand to use as well....or professional products? Which ones do u reccomend??
@GiNgErSnAp-bh7eq6 жыл бұрын
There are so many good ones in the professional realm I am going to not go there however, as far as drug store, generally the line I recommend is the l'oreal "ever" line. Theres evercurl, everpure, evercreme, etc. It does come in smaller amounts for a drug store price but it is very comparable to professional products I love. You would just need to choose the one appropriate for your hair. They have moisturizing, volumizing, thickening, reconstructing, etc but they are all in the "ever" line.
@radioactivebird81436 жыл бұрын
In general avoid silicones and sulfates. The not your mothers line is pretty good. Also yes to carrots conditioner. Shea moisture is good but it starts building up on my hair sometimes.

Mally Cosmetics has pencil type eyeshadows like that one near the bottom. They work great for me. She has her own website plus she sells on QVC. There are a lot of colors so you might find one close to that color. It’s called the evershadow color stick.

ugh tons of my hair fell out from stress from california wildfires and evacuating and all the stress :( ive been putting pure Jamaican black castor oil onto my scalp and rubbing it in and my head is growing tonsssss of new hairs all over, fully filling it. it makes all my hair softer and stronger and i use it on my skin too :)

I'm going to have to try that, I bought it and haven't even opened it yet. My hair keeps falling out, thinning and breaking. In my case it's probably partially due to hypothyroidism but, I hope it will work for me.
@beckyhegland79026 жыл бұрын
If you're looking for a texturizing spray, I recommend the one from Keratin Complex. It's bright blue in the bottle (so you'll know you have the right one if you find it; I get it at Ulta), and it's a sugar spray instead of a salt spray, so it doesn't dry your hair out. It smells really good, and I always notice that it makes my hair look thicker and fuller, even though I have fairly thick hair to begin with. I got one of my friends with thin blonde hair to try it, and she now purchases it regularly. My hair is way too dry to handle a salt spray, and I *abhor* the smell of coconut that is in most beach sprays, so this was the perfect solution for me. Good luck!

Have you tried the burnished bronze color of Evercolor Shadow Stick Extra from Mally Beauty?
@nellyanderson9536 жыл бұрын
im not sure if you've ever tried this or not, but i have rather oily eyelids myself and when i have a more dramatic look that i want to stay/need a good base for, i use tarte shape tape concealer on my lids (pretty sparingly, a little goes a long way) and top it with either a creamy matte flesh tone (my flesh tone, that is) eyeshadow OR to combat the oil more, a matte face powder all over the lid on top of the shape tape, and it holds like a dream. ever since i started doing that i havent really had as much of a need for eye shadow primer (-:

I also have a cream eyeshadow that seems to crease and fade no matter what I do, but I refuse to give up on it because I love the color. The best solution I've found is to put on eye primer, set it with a powder eyeshadow shade that matches (or is close to) your skin tone, and then dab on the cream shadow with your finger in very thin layers. It's not perfect, as I still get some creasing, but it doesn't look like a total mess after a few hours like it otherwise would.
@smittycat3596 жыл бұрын
Have you ever tried Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks (or Shadow Stick Extra...I have no idea what they're called anymore)? I really like the colors, they're easy to blend (for me) but once set, stay set (granted, I don't have oily lids so take my words with a grain of salt).

I agree with you on the naked cherry palette. I hated the naked 3 and this one was also a total bust for me. Just mediocre. I loved naked heat and naked smoky! But I feel like the first half of the palette won’t work for deeper skin tones . I’m a medium tan complexion and at least the first 5 shades hardly show up on my skin .
