Thanks for covering the brand! I j discovered there was one of these near my parents. I wanted to check out their skincare but I didn't know about anything except the unseen sunscreen dupe. This is super helpful! ☺️

I love their sunscreen. It's not the supergoop dupe. I buy the one in an orange tube. It's only $6 at their Chicagoland stores. I have oily and acne prone skin and it doesn't leave me greasy nor does it break me out. I'm always recommending it to people looking for an affordable sunscreen

I was using their hand and body cream, I like it but there’s no fragrance at all. Says so on bottle as well. I needed to graduate to cerave moisturizing cream as my skin is very dry.

Thanks for the review. I was excited and bought the antioxidant serum today but left disappointed. The texture is more like putting a ton of silicones on your skin. I will finish but probably won’t repurchase.

The Hyaluronic gel body(?) moisturizer kind of reminds me of Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost line (RIP to that amazing Walmart-only overnight one). You were the one to convince me to get the gel moisturizer (face) a while back! I need to go pick it up again because I recall really liking it. Also, when I was young, I really, really liked scrubs because my face FELT clean/like the dead skin cells came off (maybe those who were also super oily, super acne-prone teenage guys & gals at some point can probably relate). I prefer chemical exfoliants now, of course. But every once in a while, I do enjoy a nice physical exfoliation. Anyway, all that to say, I’m tempted to get the physical scrub. It’s affordable enough not to feel guilty if I don’t use it all in time before the exp date. And small enough that I don’t have to worry about using it more often than I probably would.

Hi Sarah not obviously for me this bunch - no TJ in the UK. I have also heard others including Dr Dray praise some of these though. On another note I thought I would give you an update on the ordinary moisturiser with phytoceramides on my super dry/reactive skin. it's a bit weird - on it's own it isn't moisturising enough and yet takes a while to sink in (it leaves my face feeling dry even when it's still sitting on the surface). However it works well as a sleeping mask over another moisturiser - seals the other cream in and sinks in a bit better too. I'm using it over the remainder of the PC soothing body cream (as well as all the toners and serums beforehand) at night and it's working well for me used that way. Once the humidity kicks in during the height of Summer it won't work, but it is for right now. I'll be able to use it up as a sleeping mask into the Autumn/Fall, but I'll wait and see if I ever repurchase. I don't think it contains enough oils/butters for my ultra dry skin, but the oil it does contain sits on top of the skin instead of sinking in quickly. On me it does sink in, but not like most creams do on me where they sink in very quickly. The INCI list is decent and my skin isn't having any adverse reaction, so that's a plus. Best wishes.

I love TJs sunscreen and body butter! I hate mineral sunscreens so I’m glad theirs isn’t. I buy their Hair, Body, Face wash combo for my guest bath. I love it for that purpose! It’s a huge bottle with a pump.

Nearest Trader Joes to me is 2.5 to 3 hours away about 120 miles. So no products for me😪😪

Thanks for reviewing the Marula Oil! I’ve been wanting DE’s version after trying a sample but I’m not keen on their brand or their prices. TJ’s is a 40 minute drive for me…guess who’s afternoon plans just changed? 😂 Maybe after paying for the gas I could have just sprung for DE! 🤣 BTW, you’re skin is gorgeous! ❤️
