Padres had the best trade deadline just sucks they could not make it to the World Series those bats went very silent in the last game versus the dodgers in which the dodgers would obviously go on after that game to win it all I think if and only if the padres were able to get the bats going we would have had a chance to at least go the World Series but maybe next year will be better 🤔

No Flaherty for Sweeney and Liranzo is shocking. Tigers might not have ended up made the playoffs without Sweeney coming up huge with a web gem to save the series in Baltimore. Plus Flaherty was a big get for LA, despite not a fantastic postseason.

@ I just did the math and it seems that in the 16 innings he pitched after his first three appearances with the orioles (which were very bad), he had a 1.10 ERA and 20 strikeouts and only 4 walks. That’s pretty damn good

Agreed honestly. Like I enjoy watching his videos, he's usually pretty good. But he overlooks us constantly like he still thinks we're still as shit as we've been the last 8 years and it's like the only team he really never says a ton about. Like I've seen him talk more about teams like the Marlins and other teams that aren't good way more than us. It's like the 1 team he looks at the bare minimum and calls it a day. I don't expect him to be incredibly well versed in Tigers baseball being a Mets fan, but give us a bit more credit. Sweeney was key and Liranzo could be an absolute stud in a couple of years.
