It's funny that's the song you chose. When I was 16 I had my first taste of being free, I took a greyhound trip from Red Deer Alberta to Prince Rupert BC then to Haida Gwaii. And this is the song I listened to non-stop throughout that trip. Whenever I hear radioactive it bring me back to that trip. And the first video I saw of yours was your proposal video, and the shots in it brought me right back to my that time in BC. Everything has come full circle now lol.

Sounds fantastic! I've just started getting into voiceovers in my last few videos and my workflow is laughable...but it works...mostly... I get my camera with rode videomic, I get fully under a blanket... I literally make a blanket fort recording studio so it muffles room noise, record from there. Do that a few times so I have options, then import it to premiere. Just being able to hit the record voiceover button would be so nice. lol One of these days... but hey... I get to make blanket forts on the regular and that's not all bad, eh?

Can someone please tell me if I will damage my RE-20 dynamic microphone if I use the interface with the phantom power on. I ask because the AI-1 interface I just got three days ago (based on this review) keeps the light on, indicating the phantom power will not turn off. I should also mention that it did work properly for the first couple of hours the first day I used it. but the next day it would not turn off. The instructions that came with it say the power needs to be off when using a dynamic mic.

Levi sounds excellent! That's the set-up I need. without the interface. What Sony headphones are you using? They look like a step from the MDR 7506. I know those are a recording studio staple but your's look just a little bit higher end. Nice song BTW.

Sounds great man! If you're not also a musician as of yet, you should be! I have a question...What have you learned so far about getting the most out of a very small amount of time? I find that I have tons of ideas I want to work on and videos I'd like to create, but finding the time be consistent throughout the week is hard due to work constraints. Any tips or tricks on making those little bits of free time more impactful? ✌🤘

Hello man, Awesome vid!! I was just wondering if i could run a rode podmic with dt990 pros. Would it have enough power, I dont know much about audio things. Also would I be able to listen to my desktop audio such as game and music through the preamp ( I would use it to use the dt 990 pros ) Will this all work!! Thank you.

Dude that song is awesome! The Röde interface sounds very promising although I use a Zoom H5 because of the modular approach, portability, and versatility and a Zoom TAC-8 in my project studio. Would be awesome if Röde would make a product to compete with the H5/H6. Love my Röde Videomic though...

Been working on my A/V studio setup...for lack of a better term. My acoustics are probably a notch or two better than what Casey Neistat has in his studio...in other words, it sucks. My fridge is 10 feet away from me, and is kinda noisy....you get the picture!! Anyway, I'm running a Heil PR-40 into a small mixer, which then goes into my 6D Mk ii. I like, very much, the idea of that Rode interface, though, if I want to get into podcasting. Thanks!!!
