I waited a month to get it back. Definitely worthy Mod.

I know right… I’m surprised no one’s ever thought of it. I made this a year ago after it happened to me. I just haven’t driven the k5 since the replacement but now that the plate is on I’ll feel a little more confident. I hope it catches on 😁..

Here are the building materials used to make the locking plate for the XLX2 power wires. Mega Format Expanded PVC Plastic... www.amazon.com/dp/B08V3LNC6K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Cool idea/invention. I would buy it because I’m not as skilled as you. Would you be willing to create one for me??

… I’m imagining a few ppl might prefer to just purchase than to go through the trouble and I don’t mind at all and I’ll price it low bcs I rather ppl have it to prevent damage to their expensive rc car.. I’m currently learning CAD programming, the xlx2 custom plate would be very easy to make and print with the resin printer. Right now I’m learning how to use CAD and how to use the resin printer. If too much time passes before I’m able to start printing them and handing them out, I’ll just hand make a few for the ones who need it and asked for it first based on these comments. I’ll do my best to speed things up.

@@toysforboysrc that’s great. I’m not very confident in the xlx2 for obvious reasons so whatever we can do to provide some additional protection would be a step in a positive direction. Count me in, I’m more than interested.🤙🏽

Will you be able to sell me some for an xlx2 and mm8 esc?
@toysforboysrc Жыл бұрын
Theoretically yes, it would be more efficient to print. I have a resin printer and are learning just my basics on CAD design. I have not printed anything yet as I have not attempted printing the demo STL file that comes with the printer for Chitubox but I have everything I need. The xlx2 terminal support plate has got to be the most simplest thing to design and print… so… I have a better chance at printing a successful plate before I get the headlight buckets correct for the skyline that I made from scratch. Do you mind waiting till I achieve printing it on the resin printer? Or are you preferring the hand made version with pvc expanded foam board? Bcs carbon fiber is going to turn out more expensive.

@@toysforboysrc I don’t mind waiting which ever way you would prefer to do it bro. Which ever would be the cheapest and easiest way on your end. I’ve had that issue twice already with my xlx2 esc’s one of them I only had 3 passes on my drag car before the bullet came off the board

@@ggsupplies310 … ugh that sucks man, I’ll try to make a few from the same pvc material by hand. I’ll do it adorable with shipping included and I’ll do them cheaper if it’s more than one. There just will not be extra screws but I’ll pre drill everything. I’m going to try and make a few during this month.
