Hey, I just tested the farm in survival and it worked… I did it with 5 armadillos and the hole Server was lagging and the silver fishes are spawning faster then getting killed by 4 tridents. 😅 The first time they infected my hole basement. 😂

luckily they don't, for some reason them being on a cactus as opposed to magma blocks or campfires, so long as they are always being frightened by zombies they stay tucked up and don't ever die, even with reloading the game or stuff

Removing the cactus after the potion effect runs out ensures that they stay alive forever, in a frightened state, armadillos take a lot more damage (like a lot!) but still are not immortal.

I was pretty sure trident killers didn't work in java, a search found: In Bedrock Edition, thrown tridents deal damage every time they hit an entity, allowing piston mechanisms to kill many entities. This does not work in Java, and could be very beneficial to the game experience.

The armadillos will tank the cactus for a very very long time but will eventually die if you don't take off the cactus
