I have to say I really like the yomega Nebula for looping. Love the shape of it and the rubber edges help with walk the dog and catching it.

My favorite looping yoyo is the pro-yo. There have been some comments about wearing out strings. The secret is cotton strings. Leave the poly string for the ball bearing yos.

Where can I find a Superyo Sonic spin???? I been looking for one for a while now.... I had 6 of em a few yrs ago and a bunch of others including the all metal one with the Japanese writing on it it's called the sameri I believe. Anyway I can't find em I put em up n can't remember where it's been about 5 yrs since I seen em. I got the Sonic spin and Sonic spin 2 and the $300 sameri and a bunch of old yomegas and since I'm having a hard time finding em. I'm trying to find one online

I've found bearings need more maintenance on a looper to be worth it than the other options (plastic brass, or wood transaxles) the feel of wood is best but a solid wood yoyo can melt a poly string, the yomega raider/fireball has always had a good feel to me but its heavy n eats strings, I think the old proyos with the large wood transaxle were the best compromise, they were so cheap they were disposable, I would order 2 raiders from a store personally, but if i saw 2 matching cheapos in a drugstore or a walmart I would probably buy them just to mess with.. Most people don't seem to stick with 2 hand loopers for very long anyway, but who knows I might get more into it someday

6 time world champ Shu Takada's signature yoyos are the loop series. I have 2 720s but the 2020 is the latest and greatest looping yoyo imo. I have every set of spacers. You can literally modify these yoyos anyway you want according to how you want them to play.

I STRONGLY recommend the YoyoFactory Oracle. It's pretty inexpensive (I believe around eight dollars or so) and it's very consistent. It has response pads as opposed to a starburst return system, which do wear out with use, but they are replaceable and put much less strain on the string. This is a yoyo that will sleep when you want it to and come back instantly if you don't want it to sleep, and it's all down to the throw, which is a great quality in any yoyo. You want what it does to be reliant on what you do with it, and not the way the yoyo is built.

No, it's not. When looping you want it to go down, and come back pretty quick and easy. You don't want it sleeping. Ball bearings help it sleep, allowing it to keep spinning. This makes it harder to loop (not necessarily a huge amount, but if you have to use a bite than you aren't going to be looping).
