Tony G's bluff shows why it is always better to play tournaments with billionaires like Phua than cash games. If this had been a cash game, Phua would have insta called because $100k more or less doesn't mean much to him. I think Ivey had some sort of an issue during that hand. As someone commented already, he didn't look at all well and that fold was not just bad, it was horrendous play. I mean, if you go through mechanic of a hand, what was Ivey afraid of in that spot? Pocket jacks would probably have reraised before the flop. Pocket aces - well, he had an ace, plus there was a fair chance pocket aces would have reraised before the flop too. He had the ace of spades, so he wasn't afraid of A+nut flush draw combo. Some sort of combo draw like 10 9 of spades? Well, he was a statistical favorite to win anyway and HIS STACK SIZE WAS 3 TIMES BIGGER THAN THE OPPONENTS. If you think the villain has that, just go all in, if he calls, you are still a statistical favorite to knock him out and if he gets lucky and doubles up - well, you still have 1.3 million chips to play with. Even if his read was AJ or 44, he still had to call or even ship it all in, since he has a great hand and a large chip lead (compared to the opponent). Well, if a 1-3/2-5 regular player like me knows that, I am sure Phil Ivey knows that either. Therefore I concur - either he didn't feel well or he was extremely distracted by something else, not connected to the game.

Phil looks old but doesn't affect his skill. You can look at the table. There is a huge stack, Phil and the other 2 are playing for second price. Phil had a 2 to 1 stack lead on Nak, Phil is OK to give him a small pot than risk Nak become 2 to 1 to him. At the end Nak 3rd and Phil 2nd.
