2 New Rotorua Trails- Maiden Voyage & No Brains

I am back riding the world-famous mountain bike trails and am keen to check out two new ones. The rebuilt No brains at the far end of the forest and Maiden Voyage a completely new trail built by the mud maidens.

Im only 71 I still ride an acoustic and when I get older I’ll get my self an e-bike. My trail dog wouldn’t be grateful if I got an e-bike Cheers have a great day

E bikes have nothing to do with fitness or age. If mountain biking is about having fun, then e bikes are just more fun. I agree that the dog may not like it though.😂

Nice one Lance - we rode there last night, Left Putaruru in beautiful 27 degree sunshine and arrived at Rotorua with torrential downpours! oh well I brought my jacket so I was all good and that's the important thing!

It is literally a few meters from the start of Eastern spice. The new soak hole climb will take you there.

Darn I must have given you the wrong bank account number. A bike without a motor or a battery, that would be a really interesting concept. You could even make it an EXTREME mullet with a massively large front wheel and a very tiny rear wheel

2 corners before top of Soakhole climb you can turn into it (signposted) as well as lower Corridor and Eastern Spice. If you have ridden that far keep going to the top and run Corridor it from the top.

That has always been my logic. I try to avoid upsetting anyone. Not always successful but I try.

Hey man, nice to see your video up of Maiden Voyage.. just a thought though, your choice of using the term "puss#@d out" is quite rich, given that the trail was built predominately by women. If you mess up a feature, or opt out of riding something above your comfort level, and then use the term "puss#@d out", you're implying that women are less capable or courageous. It's quite easy to choose words amd phrases that do not offend or insult in these situations.

Thanks for the feedback. I must say though I disagree with you. You say it is quite easy to choose words and phrases that do not offend. In this internet age of "I am offended" I find it almost impossible to make a video be funny and natural with no script and not offend someone. I even had a guy upset with me using the phrase "third world country." My intention is not to offend or upset anyone, but it seems to me that people have simply lost their sense of humour.
