Epic ride! 👍 Seems difficult to rent a decent e-bike where you are, Giant Trance good climber, not so sure about descending. Nice adventure Congratulations!

I have always found it harder to rent high end e bike than high end DH or Enduro bike. In this case we were not at a MTB location and I would say 99% of people would have ridden on the roads only on this bike.

Great ride. We had a similar experience back in Aug '23 in Bellagio. Our ride was approx 2200 vm and a walk at the end up to some big antenna atop the hill with a great view. By this point my battery was done! We then came done the back side to Bellagio. Got lost a few times and it took most of the day. By the end I was more than exhausted :)

Use kommot,ride GPS or Strava for routes. Get a wahoo that syncs those routes. That's what I've used local and overseas. Works well

Oh mate, you live and learn! If it’s a tour that’s rated black over there you can be sure it’s going to have a lot of climbing! I remember in Garda someone commenting (only half in jest) you could run a shuttle service to take the German’s back down the hill 😂

If that is some tread what was the first one like? FIrst thing to have tried would be to change the voice on Komoot to a males voice. We all know that woman can't read maps. Gravity is your friend it will always get you down the hill.
