Greeting from indonesia❤

This documentary is a powerful testament to the resilience and determination of the human spirit, especially in the face of adversity. Frishta, the young girl who teaches English language to children in Bamiyan while living in a cave herself, embodies true courage and intelligence. Her unwavering dedication to education, despite her own challenging circumstances, is deeply inspiring. She not only offers hope to her students but also shines as a beacon of strength and perseverance. This film beautifully captures the essence of her hard work and the transformative power of education in even the most difficult environments. Mustafa Batoor from Germany

As someone from Afghanistan, I must acknowledge that the remote areas of the country face significant challenges, and these issues have been persistent. However, the documentaries you produce tend to focus exclusively on the negative aspects, emphasizing only the problems and hardships. It is equally important to highlight the beauty, culture, and positive aspects of Afghanistan. By providing a more balanced portrayal, you can help people around the world appreciate Afghanistan not only for its struggles but also for its rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes.

You would think the taliban would take care of their own people but it’s not the case. The taliban terrorize their own people and make them suffer and disappear if they talk too much. No wonder no crime occurs in 🇦🇫 because if you open your mouth you disappear.

@@voiceofsilence208 No, you're wrong. the islamic terror organization taliban is following the quran, which teaches to terrorize and subjugate the nonbelievers. islamic terror organizations were aleays there. they just used this opportunity to build their terror organizations. now, isis, taliban, and other Islamic terror organizations are following the quran to the dot.

I am from Afghanistan, love your each and every show. Especially this one, made me emotional. One thing though, the Taliban used to disappear during winters, because they couldn’t spend the nights outside due to cold. But they would return as soon as the cold was over. That’s why winters were a lot safer compared to summers.

@@miladwolfster4309 It definitely isn't. There is an ongoing civil war still with the Northern Alliance and also a power struggle with ISIS-K in the country that the Taliban can't fully snuff out. ISIS-K has been doing suicide attacks and ambushes all over the place. They also have a growing rift with Pakistan over attacks in their provinces. This resulted in missile strikes in areas of Afghanistan by the Pakistanis. Over 40% of the population is currently food insecure since the US pulled out. Most estimates put Afghanistan as going through a severe famine by 2030. For reference, since the US arrived in 2001, the Afghan population doubled from 10 million to 20 million and their life expectancy rose by 16 years. It was the biggest jump in population and life expectancy on the planet during that two decades. This was primarily due to western medicine proliferating the area through the American's and allies there. It was the safest and best two decades in Afghanistan's history that we know of. It says something about a region when a low intensity war and being occupied by a foreign power brings your best two decades ever recorded in damn near every sector from GDP to quality-of-life index.
