Honestly , yes, you do get to “experience the process” but it is not the same because one of the toughest part about jail is the uncertainty not knowing what the judge will say or do not knowing how long of your life with be taken, it’s definitely not the same when you’re just going through the process and you have a camera behind you and the COs are being filmed too so they are on their best behavior lol and you know how long you will be there , there is very few uncertainties you’re just experiencing the process. You’re not really experiencing what it’s like.
