I wish Jamaicans learn to appreciate their island more, because of the crimes the media delve into this country above the other Caribbean island makes the people around the world afraid, they have to really visit for themselves to enjoy the serene and lovely rivers, beaches and waterfalls.

What a beautiful documentary. Love Jamaica. Life is about simple things. Like the push cart derby. Not about Ferraris etc etc.

Thank you kindly for taking the time and effort together go to my family’s homeland ( May Pen in Clarendon) and create this documentary. Very informative and not only about one area of culture in Jamaica. I cannot wait to go back to see my father’s land in Thompson Town, Windsor District once more. You would have enjoyed filming up there as it is just as remote as Blue Mountain and lush with life! I did not want the video to end from the moment I began watching it. I will definitely share it and I look forward to watching more interesting videos on your channel.

The original Push Cart Derby was held in Discovery Bay, St Ann, at Kaiser Sports Club, now called Noranda Bauxite Ltd. That's where parts of Cool Runnings were shot. All 14 parishes would compete. It was held in August. It stopped keeping in the late 90s & new organizers tried to bring it back around 2007, but it didn't work out.

As a result of Jamaicans uniqueness in their culture, lifestyles and language , they are a noticeable difference set of characteristics within the Caribbean region and worldwide, it’s unfortunate that politicians and policymakers makes life much harder for the people, especially the poor masses, but at the end of the day, Jamaica is what it is 🇯🇲💪🏾🌎❤️
