Mayotte is mixed of Arabic peoples( yemeni and Omani...), Swahili( Mozambique, Tanzanie, kenya), Indian and Asian (Malagasy) peoples. They have some indien influence like food( sambossa, beredre, bredes, sari et..) That is why they speak dialect of swahilis and dialect of malagasy( shimaore/maoré and shibushi/kibushi).
