I live in North Central Kansas, and Sorghum (aka Milo) is one of a few staple crops here. It is stored, sold, and distributed from local farmer co-op grain risers. I'd say its an Alt crop used by many, many farmers here. I can buy a 50lb bushel at the co-op for about 10 bucks. I actually use the whole, unprocessed grains, for mushroom grain spawn production. It works very well!

I'm surprised to see how much the Zimbabwean culture resembles close my own. I am Tamil and we also slaughter goats sometimes as offerings for certain festivals. Also, goat blood (minus the fat) is a delicacy in our culture too. I remember my aunt making it once for me and I loved it. It's actually delicious when cooked the right way! 😋

@@ferwallace1903 Really? I had a feeling but i didn't know for sure because i didn't do any research. I had a friend from Malawi and when he would speak to his parents on the phone it sounded so much like Kikuyu but slightly different. I think it's because we are all Bantu people right? And I think that's why our languages sound similar because they are Bantu languages. At least that's what i gathered from the research i just did lol
