John O Shea ALWAYS got the job done though, whether its The Champions League for United or coming in clutch for Ireland vs Germany with a last minute goal. Chap was an absolute unit

Shearer was kicked relentlessly every single game. The fact that he took it and gave it back double time really makes opposition fans cry. The only time Shearer was truly dirty was the Neil Lennon incident and he got very lucky that day.

Hated Shearer back in the day. But always admired how good he was. Maybe that was part of the reason why I hared him. Could have played for United but turn it down. His duels with Keane played a part. But man... what a striker he was, there is a reason why he is still the all time goalscorer in the Premier League.
