Hyein's foot was injured (a microfacrature in her foot, on hiatus from dancing for a while) during this music video, so they had the bunny stand in for her dancing, she didn't dance in the video due to the injury. I think it was a clever way to integrate her into the dance without having her dance. This style of music is called New Jack Swing, BTW, and the chereo is straight out of 90's hip hop. BTW, this is their Japanese/debut release.

you nailed it with the hyper rnb.. thats exactly this genre... 'new jack swing' a clubbier version of RnB from late 80s to early 90s reminds me a lot of Bobby Brown 'every little step'

@@BestFriendsReactHyein pronounces it like "Hain", rhymes with rain. If you watch their concert introductions or their pod casts, you'll pick up on her name being pronounced as one syllable.

Nop... 'Hee-ae in'

Actually it's hard to translate it into the alphabet. This is further complicated by the fact that English and Korean have different ways of dividing syllables. For example, in English, rain is one syllable, but in Korean, it is written, pronounced as two syllables and recognized as two syllables as well. So I don't think either opinion is completely wrong. Almost all Korean names are two syllables by Korean standards, but some names (like Hye-in, for example) might be perceived as one syllable by English speakers.

I'm going by how Hyein and the other members have actually pronounced her name. Every time I have heard it pronounced, it has always been as one syllable sounding like "Hain" in English. If Hyein has chosen to use just one syllable, who am I to argue with? 😊
