Thanks for making video. Not much out there on this topic. I have 1964 impala 327 engine rebuilt, back from shop. There's no bypass plate. Purchase mr gasket 1270 but I need bypass plate to install. The permanent 1134 doesn't need this plate. Does the filter have bypass. Also is this the only filter I can use with perma 1130 adapter .

That frame filter has a bypass. And that's the one mfg suggests so I'd stick to it

@@bestfromnw mfg suggest to use only this filter. O k if i buy the perma cool 1134. I will stock up on filters. Any other adapters out there. Just want to know what options there are. Since I've already got the mr gasket 1270,

@@benjaminsoto5892 1130 supposed to be one of the better one. AutoZone locally stocks the filters for better price than summit.

Can’t find an HP 4 anywhere! Found a PH5, It screws on, but not sure if I can use this.Do you think I should just try to see if it does work?

Autozone can usually get them within few days, also summit racing and jegs usually stock them
