I wasn’t putting down the talented dancers or Chubby Checker’s song. I was merely informing those younger people who may have thought this was the twist the dancers were doing. Anyone can check out both the twist and the jitterbug online since they are totally different dancers. Nothing alike.

When the couples danced, yes, it was the jitterbug. When a group of single dancers danced, it looked more like the TWIST. These dances will never fade away.

Great dancing but very FEW DID THE ACTUAL TWIST WHEN I WAS GROWING UP AND DOING THE TWIST 62yrs ago!!!! SUCH FUN BACK THEN!!! We didn’t think about cheating, lying,bullying, murdering, shooting someone!!!! WE wereTRUE KIDS WHO JUST LOVED TO DANCE THE NEW DANCES ! We didn’t have time for all the crap now that kids do ??????
