I bought this stand mixer 5 years ago and I'm still using it! The best $50 I've ever spent on an appliance.

This is an awesome review :) my husband tried to get me a standmixer for Christmas but was too late and we definitely don't have the money for a kitchen aid. This will help my hands and arms not to ache. :) can't wait to buy this one, which is what I was looking at lol :)

I am considering purchasing this mixer. It seems like a good starter mixer to use while saving for the more expensive professional quality mixers. The more expensive ones are a good investment actually, usually they will last 30 years or more. (30 years being conservative, since my grandmothers lasted around 40 years before being damaged by neglect)

when you are mixing Pizza dough dont forget oil around the bowl for the dough to be removed easily because otherwise you will have the same problems that you are having in this video when mixing the pizza dough , sticking all over

I bought the black with chrome trim. I bought to make my favorite cake: 🥕 cake. I got tired of using a hand mixer. The mixer performed well. I am so happy I bought it.

The one and only thing that would stop me from buying this unit is all the plastic. I cannot imagine this thing having a long life at all. Pizza dough and such beat the hell out of mixers and plastic is well....plastic... Thanks for the review. You are as professional as you are pretty.

How many quarts is the bowl on that mixer? The fact that KitchenAid bowls are narrow at he bottom seems allow for smaller amounts of liquid to be whipped. A used Kitchen Aid can be more affordable than a brand new one. When comes to folding prefer to do that by hand.

I got mine for Christmas and I love it. I got the black and chrome one. It's great. I've used it for cookie dough, bread, biscuits and I am very happy with it.

You can do a review of stand mixer Hamilton Beach 63390 I want to see the quality of the stand mixer
@ted17925 жыл бұрын
Beware of these cheaper stand mixers. They look great and even work pretty good, but I am guessing this one and many or all that look like it are belt driven. Belt drive mixers like J C Penny's Cooks brand. Wolfgand Puck, and the U K brand of Russel Hobbs were all the same machine. Not bad machines, but you can't find belts for them if or should I say when the belt breaks. Years ago companies were required to make parts available for everything. Not the case anymore. Break a belt, buy a new machine. I've seen complaints about Kitchen Aid gears going bad, but at least new ones are available. Also the mixer belts I've seen in home use machines are not heavy duty belts. Before buying you should check for parts availability .

Thanks. I am in the market for a budget stand mixer. I prefer Kitchenade but just don't have the $200-$250 to spend on one at the moment. I found out a few months ago I am lactose intolerant so I want to start making my own dairy-free bread/cookies/etc. This seems like a decent enough mixer. Thanks again.

I've heard on other baking videos that salt kills the yeast so it's best to add it in towards the end of adding flour not in the beginning...enjoyed your review..thanks

yes salt does kill yeast she should have put it in with the flour. but it is a good review.

Thisworldisgoingcrazy ! No salt doesn’t kill yeast, it slows down the yeast production.

That looks like a very crappy mixer! I had one almost like the Hamilton Beach. It made the same sound, and had the same sort of bowl and attachments. And that mixer was so bad, I had to sell it. I see that the Hamilton Beach are just as bad. Try to make bread with a dough hook like that. That will not work at all. The dough will creep up the hook all the time. If not, it will come out of the bowl. I think a machine like that is not worth to buy at all. Not everybody are rich and can affort something expensive, no, but there are other options. For example a vintage stand mixer. You can get a vintage high-quality stand mixer for less than you have to pay for mister flimsy plastic fantastic over there. For example a vintage Kenwood or KitchenAid or other brand. Or get a second hand stand mixer, a fairly new one, for half the price of a new. I had absolutely not money enough to buy a stand mixer when I decided to trow away my plastic junk, similar to the Hamilton Beach. But I found a Hotpoint stand mixer in the UK. A new one for a bargain price. I live in Europe, so that is not very far away. I took the chance and bought it. And I am very satisfied. The Hotpoint is practically the same as a Kenmore Elite, just a different design. Otherwise exactly the same. But less pricy. The quality difference from the old plastic scrap to this new one in high quality materials are like heaven and hell. And I can make bread in it, without problems. I don't even have to hold the mixer when kneading. I had to almost strap the old one to the walls, otherwise it would walk and fall to the floor. My tip is that second hand quality is way better than new junk. I would not buy the Hamilton Beach, never! Here in Norway you can buy a one of the best machines out there, a used Kenwood Major, for like nothing. I am sure you can find really affordable mixers on Craigslist, or where you read you classifieds.

Sounds like you expect diamonds on a rhinestone budget. You have to consider that the used items, when new, were a lot more expensive than items similar to this one. Now if you want to compare apples to apples, compare this mixer at $120.00 Canadian to other stand mixers at $599.00 Canadian. Which, by the way, will be of similar quality to the used items you are referring to, since back when they were made, they were considered top of the line products and not a budget item. A great example is my grandmothers sunbeam stand mixer. $299.00 when purchased 35 years ago. The ONLY reason it is not working is because it got set outside in a box during the winter and the motor rusted. It actually did still run, even after sitting outside, but I couldn't trust it to run safely with corroded wires.

Great mixer but very irritating. Beware of the mixing bowl when you wash it or it will spray you. The holes on the bottom which act as tracks when attached to the mixer collect water and will spray you every time when you lift the bowl from the sink!
