Summer hallucinating about Marissa being in the other room and not being able to take it in that she's really gone heartbreaking. They were best friends nearly their entire life. Also Julie's grief was seriously well done. No parent should to go through the feeling of visiting their child's grave. RIP Marissa 🕊☀

Back in 2003-2007 Most of the audience that watched the O.C was probably between 13-20 during those years our emotions are more intense and we conect to T.V shows and Games, or other situations in a stronger way, now that we are adults we technically see things differently and less dramatically, so the experience we had watching the OC won't be matched by other show unless is one that really conects you with it, so far for me I dont watch anything else because these days nothing fills me

I miss the OC so much - I think it definitely set a precedent for having AMAZING music so prominently featured on a show! I LOVE Keane, and this is my favorite song by them - it makes me want to cry when it's put in the context of what's happening with everyone in this scene. Thanks so much for posting these music moments - they make me SO nostalgic for The OC, but at least I can see I'm DEFINITELY not alone :)

I hate saying it but I still don’t think he was ever in love with her- I just think he wished she would have been alive for good things in life to happen for her. He wished he could have saved her. He was smart enough to know he couldn’t have but just needed to get away from all the memories. Ryan was, always, trying to work things out in his life and to keep getting better.

I own seasons 1-3 on DVD and purposely won't buy season 4 because it just wasn't the O.C. without Marissa. I remember walking thru the halls the day after the season 3 finale aired and everybody popular or not had seen it and we all said the same thing. Marissa can't be dead she's the show it will die without her. Sad that a group of 15/16 year olds predicted the end of such an amazing show I mean everybody was watching this.

Yeah but I think her mistake was choosing to be killed off and having no chance of coming back when they offered her the opportunity of her character to just leave with the option to come back if she wanted kind of like the One Tree Hill situation where Lucas left but then came back in the series.

hi this serie with or without marissa was very good, and please dont say when marissa died the serie die too. You forget the serie was about a guy whos doesn´t have nothing to live, and then he goes to another world , with a very good and happy family ( cohens ) and he have such a good friends.
