Nah, that's not even singing. That's 'screaming.' There should be singing contests and separate screaming contests for them that's into screaming.

I believe they should get different singers as judges. Because it’s not always about appreciating the talent, it is also about them being able to do something with this talent in the next stage.

Screaming can be tonal and is considered a vocal art form don't see why it shouldn't be included just like rap.
@BillyDool
@BillyDool 7 ай бұрын
@@brindlebriar screaming is a sub-type of singing. There's opera singers. There's r&b singers. There's pop singers. There's country singers. There's rock singers. And there's scream singers. Stop being so close minded just cuz you hate it. I hate the way screaming sounds. Doesn't take away from the fact it's a type of singing and a skill that some people can't even develop.

One of the things I like about the non-US/UK shows is how willing the judges are to step outside predefined boxes- the Viking song was stunning but would have gone over like a lead balloon - same with the Mongolian Throat singer- it's like the rest of the world realises that talent and music isn't all round peg in round hole...

She screamed so clearly. I have never been this impressed by screaming I have to say. It was never my cup because I could never understand the lyrics as a non-native English speaker. And she's doing it in a non-native language too.

Going by the 'goosebumps test', my vote is for Marie Flamme. Honorary mention: Claudillea Holloway. Both performers show guts to pick songs that are unusual for this type of contest, but allow them to show off their vocal prowess to the fullest.

I'm reading the comments about Bukhu and how the performance made them cry. I think what they're leaving out is the absolute abruptness of how fast and hard those tears hit. Totally gutteral. Insane talent.

Ton of talent and I’m seeing many comments taking issue with why some of these acts were ignored. You have to remember these judges are looking for talent that will gain a huge fan base and be highly marketable. Some of these singers are filling a narrow niche and won’t make a lot of money. They need to fill stadiums, sell records, and gain radio play. Unfortunately much of the talent compiled in this video does not fall into that category.

That audition by Andra Botez might have been the best audition I've ever seen on any singing show. I don't care for the song, but the amount of range, technique, and vocal character she displayed was unsurpassed.

(”Mother and Father”)… With no rebound lyrics and no words-had an impactful meaning melody than an actual lyrically. Another thing give a chance to DJs, too… They understand the notes more than an actual artist. The first contestant in the initiative video was superb. And for the cover of (Taylor Swift); she put a song that was more like a relatable situation than the actual artist. And the woman covering (Spain): she was having more fun with the song than any contestants. She nailed it!

What I pove about Ruby Leigh is as soon as she started yodelling, she looked at Reba, because Reba loves good yodelling and as soon as she turned her chair Ruby nodded because no doubt she hoped to get Reba to turn and she was happy with herself that she did. Edit to add I love the singer at 17:20 who brought Irina to her knees. She was in love 😂
