Which talent shocked you the most with their voice? ✌️
@jhonatanroque2 жыл бұрын
I didn't understand this list. I think unexpected looks means talents with unique looks (not necessary the voice) that represent like a surprise who see them. I see that way. Only three auditions are relationed with the meaning of the title. The other auditions seem random auditions you added to fill the list. Could anyone explain what the real point is? Thanks for advance.

I've heard Girls they want to have fun hundreds of times and naturally relegated it to a fast paced anthem for Girls who want to have fun. But Magnus' slower paced version was so full of well placed soulful emotional emphasis that it's almost like I heard this song for the first time, so that it went from a fast paced whimsical song to a slower thought provoking ballad, so much so that I actually ended up feeling sorry for those girls who just want to have fun but can't! Like with Chris James .The audience was reacting to him , you could see something cool was going on .Yet they waited till they missed his whole musical routine , his act , he was obviously used to being in musicals . So natural in his role as the genie. As music " connoisseur " they should've turned much sooner . Voice alone is 80% of the package , he had that , a great multi usable voice .The rest is charisma . That was his real Forte, the man is a born musical star .

See now... apart from the Singing Nun! the one that seriously shocked ME was Patrick Bullock. He chose a musical theatre style & delivered it perfectly - but I kept waiting for him to 'sing properly.' I think we ALL were! You could hear it all - all that magnificent potential - IN there. He has perfect pitch across quite a few registers, great timing and even better dynamics and his various timbres are full & rich & resonant. So this has all the makings of a spectacular voice across the Bari/ Tenor range. But when he did 'kind of 'sing', right at the end, it was weak & hesitant & disconnected and I was truly shocked. And then we had 'Metal Man' ... And it occured to me that maybe Patrick has NEVER HAD proper vocal coaching to discover and release his real voice! I don't think he has a clue what he actually HAS. I wonder if he will now do the work to find out. REALLY hope he does. 👍

I agree with you, Lin, I also think he could and should but I don't believe he will. This would have been his opportunity to do so, but I think he'll give up on the idea and go back to his comfort zone - perhaps exactly because it was the band playing that put a smile on that little girl's face...
