it helps too that the room they're in is designed to be as acoustically perfect as possible, plus she has experience in front of an audience. I think that's what trips up a lot of those auditioning, who might sound great singing in their livingroom to friends or alongside a backing track, but the true test is being able to sing anywhere, with anyone, and still express your vocal ability

Yea I loved that. I know J Hud is an incredible singer, but I dont listen to much R&B, so my exposure to her is still limited. But I wonder how many artists would be willing to go on stage and sing with a contestant, AND also play the background and let them shine. A lot of artists would be scared to get upstaged, or would feel like they need to show out, especially in the age of social media.

They said she barely spent time training her team and wanted her team members to be stage ready. I love this compilation of JHud clips. But even more I love how Jennifer time after another proves herself to be the best sports ever. She is always willing to sing along with the contestants but never in a light-year she tries to out-sing them, rather she gives them the spot-lights and strengthens them to sing the best.
