The reason I think danny turn later is you'll notice him looking over to other 2 judges to see if they would turn too. If they did and he wanted to save his picks for later on in the season for someone else the other 2 may have saved him a pick if he wasn't sure about Courtney after he turned. You'll notice him look to them right before the end of the song and sees they show little interest in turning, that's when he went for it. He knew he liked what he heard. He was hoping he like what he saw too. And he was ecstatic afterward. The other 2 weren't into rock as much and they also knew Danny was.

The reason they did not turn was basically they were supposed to be judging an audition and they got a concert. Pixie Lott gave it away when she admitted she thought she was at her concert. They all were and they had front row seats

@@Trev112010 That's a whole other story as to why. But as many others feel by not winning she really won. AGT contracts hurt the artist for a while limiting them in what they can do. She went on to get sign immediately by Simon and many others trying to steal her away from Simon. The started to learn the ropes in recording and writing by Arista Records and Sony was to be the marketing kingpin. Unfortunately COVID interrupted her stardom. Hopefully soon now
