We just bought this pool and will be working on it tomorrow, do you need to put sand under it? Or just lay the ground cover?

Of course you do u need a firm base and level ground

You don’t need sand. But if you have grass below the ground cover it can smell a bit and I usually replace the gound cover each other year.

if you have anything other than lawn underneath then yes. liners are easy to puncture.

we have this pool and just about to install it, but wondering how the liner goes over snuggly over the large two protectors on the ground as they are quite bulky?

The liner is soft so it will go over snuggly as the water presses down over the protectors. But robot cleaners will have a hard time with those protectors and get stuck…

So this pool cannot stay up in the winter? I assume it needs to be completely disassembled

You can leave it during winter. Just drain water under the pump hole and remove the pump so it won't freeze.

This one looks like the 5x3,6m as it only has two supports and not four.
