This is a really beautiful book! The pop-ups really enhance the already-impressive antique illustrations.

Hello, and thank you for creating your Pop-Up Book channel! This is such a great resource for my classes, as I teach pop-up book design in my 3D-Design courses. The lockdown created by Covid-19 has made it impossible for me to physically show my personal book collection to students who normally get to leaf through them and study the artistry and mechanics in detail. Although you are not filming strictly for detailed analysis of the mechanics, your film quality, repeated showing of a spread from different angles, and zoomed in shots are wonderfully useful. I really appreciate that you do not speak, and only have music play in the background. The music lifts up the creative aspects of the book and adds the the mystery. It must take some effort and decision-making on your part to put your videos together. Great work. Also, when a particularly deliciously artistic and creative book is shown, it makes me want to purchase it for my collection, which exists for my students to learn from. The authors, illustrators and paper engineers all deserve recognition for their work, and financial remuneration in the form of a purchase.

Dear Michael, Thank you so much for the nice comment. We’re really happy to hear that our videos are useful for educational purposes. And most important, to inspire future paper engineers. Thank you and send our best wishes to your students! Our website BestPopUpBooks.com is also a great source of information about pop-up books and paper engineering. Stay safe!
