மந்தாகினியின் மரணத்தின் போது பின்னணியில் ஒலிக்கும் அந்தப் பாடலை வைத்து அக்காட்சியை இன்னும் நுண்மையாக புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியும். அது ஒரு சங்கப்பாடல். அது வெறும் இறப்பின் சோகத்தை சொல்லும் பாடல் அல்ல. அப்படி இருந்தால் அதை கரிகாலன் மரணத்துக்கு பயன்படுத்தி இருக்க முடியும் அல்லவா? அது சாத்தன் என்ற வீரனை பாட்டுடைத் தலைவனாக கொண்டது அவன் மரணத்தைப் பற்றி பேசுகிறது. அப்படிப் பார்த்தால் கரிகாலனுக்கு மேலும் அணுக்கமானது. ஆனால் ஏன் இங்கு பயன்படுத்தினார்கள்? இது புரிந்தால் அந்தக் காட்சி இன்னும் ஆழமாக பொருள் கொள்ளும். அந்த சங்கப் பாடலது அடிநாதம் இறப்பின் சோகம் அல்ல இறப்பால் வந்த கையறு நிலை. கரிகாலன் இழப்பு கையறு நிலை அல்ல. அவன் இடத்தை நிரப்ப வீரமும் மாண்பும் நிறைந்த அருண்மொழி இருக்கிறான். ஆனால் மந்தாகினியின் மரணம் அப்படிப்பட்டதல்ல. அருண்மொழியின் உயிரையும், சுந்தரசோழனின் உயிரையும் காவல் தெய்வம் போல வந்து பலமுறை காத்தவள் அவள். இன்று அவளோ மரணித்துவிட்டாள். அவர்கள் காவல் தெய்வம் இல்லாத கையறு நிலையில் இருக்கிறார்கள். அவளது இடம் இனி யாராலும் இட்டு நிரப்பக்கூடியது அல்ல என்று அந்தப் பயன்பாடு குறிப்புணர்த்துகிறது.

My honest feedback ---> Ak & Nandhini childhood love stories ah PS-1 starting scene ah vechirunthaa nachunu irunthurkum. Just imagine, childhood Nandhini is sent away and after few years audience coming to know that she's now the Pazhuvoor queen and pallakku la Nandhini nu nenachaa, Madhuraanyhagan veliya varaan. Next day VD (along with the audience) are seeing the Pazhuvoor beauty 😮 Ipo interval scene la AK parthibendran kitta pain share pannum bothu innum effective ah irunthurkum antha scene and audience now come to know he has again met her somewhere after that, trying to save veera paandian and turning into a killing machine. Apart from that, PS-2 is a well crafted masterpiece anyway. Arunmozhi is claimed to be Ponniyin Selvan as people imagine Ponni saved him. But Nandhini happens to be the selvi in reality where she's comes out of ponni (starting scene) and goes into ponni (in her last scene)

By giving much importance to Nandhini I. ISWARIYA raised it was forced to show Vickram post and his early relation was not explained bu Senthan Amuthan character was important and he was only a crowned prince, but the gives the crown to Pandiyan son Maduranthagan by passing Senthan Amuthan which is great history mistake. Secondly to prove Adhithiya Karikalan was not killed by Vandhiyadevan a letter was sent by Adhithiya karikalan through Manemegalai, but this Manemegalai was not shown. According story Periya Paluvettaiyar killed himself as he was not able to save the life of Karikalan. But the picture shows Paluvettaiyar was alive he Arunmozhivarman has to give his crown Maduranthagan who Verra Pandiyan son Kalki has not mentioned in his book that Parthipendran has joined with Rastraguda force, even Vickerans Nandhipurathu Nayagi , partipendran died and killed by Chinna Paluvettaiyar when he try to revive his own pandava kingdom. I do agree that is very impossible to take a picture completely on the basis of stories. But should not change the character by crowned a wrong person and not shown such important characters at the cost of real story heros. This fill full and full taken by Maniratnam keep in mind only ISWARIYA RAI. This film may retailed as NANDHINI PART 1 AND 2 instead of PS 1 and 2. Secondly everybody used to quote Rajinikanth. Who is he to judge as he himself an animation actor and media hope. Just because Balachander you people are habbit each and every thing even cricket as if he was a great actor. I even don't accept Balachander compared to the film produced byBhi sing, Sridhar and LV Prasad, K S Goplakrishnan

I don't understand why some people are still confused about the PS-2 Climax. To simplify the plot and avoid further confusion about ages, the creators introduced SendhanAmuthan as a fictional character with no royal blood connections. They completely removed the concept of twin babies from the novel and instead depicted Madhuranthakan (played by Actor Rahman) as the true son of Sembiyan Madhevi and Gandrathithar, establishing him as the Chola Blood and Uttama Cholan and nowhere in the movie they didn't establish him as a Pandiyan Prince. Nandhini was the only child born to Mandhakini and Veerapandiyan.So please don't confuse yourself with Movie & Novel both were different in case of Climax and Twists.
