You know I think I might have a theory for why Bonnie absolutely loathes Joe now. It's because he's not the man he once used to be (and no, I don't mean it like that) Joe used to be such a badass cop and an even more awesome husband. He was the coolest of all his friends and was the best cop on the force. He never even let his disability get in the way of his life neither! Bonnie loved him because he didn't let his handicapped nature get in the way of what he truly was. A hero. But nowadays Joe is being treated like a joke, he doesn't even do anything about it neither. He just let's anyone *walk* all over him. He just completely let his disability take over his life, he doesn't even act tough nor badass anymore, he just acts like a shell of a man. And I think think it's because of that, Bonnie hates him. Because she now feels completely trapped in her marriage. Which she never had before, because Joe didn't act like a weakling, he acted like a man. He provided a family, miraculously had a child despite his condition (unless someone else helped with the birth of the baby) and did anything to help and provide for his family! But now that all of Joe's motivated, dedicated persona has suddenly vanished without a trace, Bonnie also lost the need to even love Joe anymore.
