Impossible, the GoPro has too much of a wide field of view.

Yes I don’t see why not.. but you’ll have to film from 24-26mm and upwards, because the teleprompter will show up in the frame if you go any wider..

Good review bro. Can you please let me know if your lens is 24 mm (full-frame) or 16 mm (crop sensor) will it shows a shadow. I have a parrot teleprompter, to use that I have to set my focal length minimum 28mm (full-frame) otherwise, the parrot teleprompter shows a shadow at the top of the lens.

Thanks! No, 16 mm is too wide for this teleprompter. You’d need at least 24-26 mm(APSC) to avoid the teleprompter showing up in the frame on the sides..

Ive updated the link, should work now. But it seems like the first version of this teleprompter isn’t available anymore. Now they have the V2, i don’t really know how it compares to the V1. So you’ll might have to do some research before purchasing..

No 16mm would be too wide, I’d say minimum 24mm on APSC..

I don't think so. 16mm is too wide.. You'll see the black edges of the teleprompter with the 16mm, i think you'll need at least 24mm..

Just a tiny bit. I think it also make the image slightly darker. With a white balance card you won’t really have any issues :)

Great stuff! 2 questions. 1. Can I use this with my iPhone as my shooting camera? 2. What kind of camera did you shoot this video on? I know it’s not just the camera. Obviously, you’re an expert in lighting and composition. Any chance you could do a behind the scenes video, showing your whole set up and how you achieve such a beautiful filmic look. And by the way, your English is excellent!

Andrew Hawkes 1. No, I don’t think so.. 2. I used my previous camera, the Canon 77D with the Sigma 18-35 lens. But like you said it’s not really about the camera, it’s more about composition and lighting. At the moment I’m using my iPhone to film my videos, but as soon as I’m going to get a new camera. I’ll start making tutorials on lighting and composition. So stay tuned!

Yes I’ve used it couple more times after this review and to be honest I’m pretty happy with it. The build quality is not the best, but it works wonders and helps me a lot with my videos. I didn’t really notice any decrease in image quality with this teleprompter, but like I mentioned in the video the white balance slightly changes when you use this teleprompter. Hope that helps :)

Hi, Teik you may also try to use smartphone with converted and flipped Powerpoint slides and use that teleprompter to mirror your slides, using ppt-mirror.com app to convert and mirror-flip ppt files for smartphone then insert the device in prompter, it helps not to memorize the script by simply use your existing slides ,the app doesn't force you to read word for word... it leads your speech and videos to more natural. KiAna I sold it! Used it for about a month or two and decided to sell it. Not because it was bad or something, but because I preferred filming without using a teleprompter. Felt more natural to me..
