Use the normal filter setting so you are filtering what you vacuum up. Then when you finish vacuuming that's a good time to do a 1 minute backwash and 30 second rince cycle.

I can’t get my tank closed with the rubber ring on. The two outer rings will not fit over the tank no matter what I do. They hardly fit with the ring off. Any ideas of what I can do? Thanks!

This was great! I understand that they sell internationally and so pictures may be best but I like more detailed instructions. Also, there was not skimmer for my pool. Before hooking up the solar pad, I noted that the filter pressure was approximately 4.2 and the instruction manual said it should be under 4.5. After connecting solar pad, the pressure gauge went up to 6.1. Should I now assume that the new threshold for back wash and rinse is 6.4 or over?

Mine ran at about the same psi as yours for both without and with the solar heater. I took the solar heater out as I’m in Las Vegas the sun alone has been enough. Hope all is well.

What pressure is you pump running at with the solar heater hooked up? Mine is running at 10psi. In the manual it says it should be under 6.5psi. I've already backwashed and rinsed multiple times.

Yeah. mine tends to run higher. I think because of the solar heater resistance.

@Victoria-lx7uc so those two plugs go into the B ports on the inside of the pool. You will need to loosen the clamps on the outside and remove the filter protectors and replace them with the plugs.

I have a rectangular Bestway pool. It is only 2 weeks old and already the printed tiles on the base have faded badly on the floor of the pool. In about 5 places the pattern has disappeared completely. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sometimes the chemicals can fade the pool liner color, especially if chlorine tablets get lose and sit on the bottom. That happened to me once.

Not all pumps have an 8 hour timer. If the GFCI has a set of addotional lights on it, other than reset and test, it has a timer. If like mine has none so no timer. That is what Bestway told me 8/5/2024.

Backwash stirs up and cleans the sand. Rinse helps settle the sand after backwash. Gets it ready to filter again
