Thank you for showing me this nice video during this difficult time of Covid19. It brings me all at once, with vibration from the trucks, shaking at the points and sounds of the crossing bells. One day we can see again

Thank you too to see this ! Yes it's very hard to think about the situation, and no plans to return to Japan soon ... 😥
nice video! i am a new railfan and have got on the e353, e5, new shuttle, skyliner, rapi:t, n700a, and romancecar... the romancecar has really great views if you can manage to seat in the front observation deck. the rapi:t looks so unique and its interior is quite nice.
8500系 Fuji-san View Express(2016) =JR Central 371系 (1991) It was subsequently sold to the private railway operator Fuji Kyuko and rebuilt as the Fujikyu 8500 series for use on Fujisan Tokkyu services from March 2016.

Dear Friend: I am from the Argentine Republic and next year I will do a tour of Japan, I am a fervent admirer and fan of the railways, I will use the JR Pass for 14 days to tour the country. Could you guide me on which limited express train is the longest and most picturesque in the country. yours affectionately. Fausto Brindisi from Rosario, Argentina.

Japan has the best trains design in the world!

Impressive line up of trains but I think they are now just trying too hard to be different. I think the best era for Japanese trains is the late 80s to early 2000s that saw genuinely beautiful trains such as the 300, 500, 700, E1 Max, E2, E3, E4 Max and 800 series shinkansen and the 251,253, 281, 651, 681,787, 883 and 885 series limited express trains and I think the fact that many of these are still operating shows what good designs they still are!

Do any one of these are privately owned or something?? coz some of the railcars are short and seem to have an exclusivity of sorts.. nonetheless all of them are beautifully designed.

Yes, for example, the Odakyu trains at the end, as well as the Nankai 50000 series. A lot of these private companies are also involved in retail and real estate, which explains the massive profits and ability to run these elegant trains in addition to their normal commuter services.
