Yes we do but can we pull in some that showcase the great qualities of the black female and not just the stereotypical beliefs of what those outside of the black community believe about black men and women. There are black female shows that exist showcasing black women excellence. Characters that are levelheaded, smart, self aware, independent, financially stable, strong, career oriented that don’t need a man to define them but is able to have a man to compliment them without losing who they are. And this is DEFINITELY NOT that show.

I watched this show in the beginning on and off. I was being so so Critical about it. I stopped watching but I came back and started watching again. At this point I realized that I was being so so critical and shut my over critical but down only to realize that I related to these beautiful, talented women. ❤

Sis, I wish we could be friends in real life!! Cmon Tamara. Can we reflect on some strong, self aware, secure, confident black female shows and not the stereotypical beliefs that this show reinforces to degrade the black community. Why is it the worst most ugliest portrayals of black men and women are always celebrated and praised as entertainment by the black community. Every black woman is not recklessly promiscuous, don’t know who her baby daddy is, or conducts their personal business at their place of employment. And every black man is not abusive, self centered, cheater, womanizer, a criminal or unsure of his sexuality. But this gets congratulated while reinforcing what those outside of the black community already believe is truth about all black men and women. Don’t get mad when those outside of the black community call this out because of what has been projected as believable.

I do like this show and I watch it every week. But last week I did not understand why the girl at the airport said to her guy that she was going to go down on him anyway. I do not understand what that had to do with the scene at all. I had to rewind two times to make sure that's exactly what she said. I also do not understand why Fatima is with Zack on the show but there's a spin-off called zatima and she's with Zack and nobody will explain that to me. I don't get that show I only get sisters. I also do not understand why they are so racist on the show. They say things that I would not be allowed if the tables were turned. I don't want to repeat it here but people must know what I'm talking about. If someone on a show like friends said that's so and so went off with some black b**** it wouldn't be allowed but somehow it's allowed when we're talking on this show that's so-and-so went off with a white b****. Don't get it don't understand it but yes I still like the show
