I have an xtrainer, and it's the way to go for a single trail. I have been at AFC, Stansbury, and Skyline Drive, and this bike stability and traction is amazing. In fact, I rebuilt it with a gnarly pipe, FMF, jetting for 8k feet, change the spring, and basically, I have a 300 RR with a lower seat and more stable bike I am 5'8 "and rise the bars with a 10mm, and the feel is perfect. I wouldn’tchange it for a different one. My friend rides a 200RR, and sometimes he can't climb steep hills due to not having my 300 xtrainer power. However, he can manage better in open terrains at speed. If you ride like me enduro, technical terrain you wouldn't need more speed or power that i have now and the suspension is totally fine for this type of riding. If you want, you can always upgrade the suspension. .

My opinion after owning a Xtrainer and test riding the 200 and 300RR at the beta demo day is, if you are an experienced rider planning to ride all types of terrain get the 300rr, if riding singletrack only then both the 200RR or the X trainer are good. If you are an older rider getting back into riding probably the Xtrainer is the best bet.

I went with the cross trainer. Because most of my writing, it's Rocky stuff.

The seat height is my problem with most bikes, I have a 29 or 30 inch inseam and I liked riding and I liked cross country type stuff, but more technical stuff I would always fall over on because I couldn't reach the ground. I also like the linear power that 4 strokes have, especially FI bikes. Which one of these is best for my situation?

It sounds like the xtrainer would be better for me.

Just work on your balance 😊 such a misconception for the bike height… I am 5’8” and perfectly fine with Ktm exc300

@@davydtolyarenok3704 Yeah my balance is fine, when you are trying to go up a slippery slope and not able to reach the ground sucks when your bike can go forward anymore and it slips out from under you and you nail your head on the ground. Even with helmets on you get a concussion. I have had too many concussions already, and have had almost died once after hitting my head when I passed out once, while doing things that require a helmet and dirt bikes, I don't need another one just because I can't reach riding on terrain where balance means nothing.
