Beta 500 RR-S Hands Down Best Dual Sport

I can't find any fault with this dual sport. Please find somebody with a Beta 500 or Beta 390 and give it a rip. You will be impressed and you won't be disappointed. This is not really a review video ;) but I hope you enjoy the ride!

Can you tell something about the traction control ? I want to know if the throtle is still abrupt withe the mildest setting. Can ABS be instaled ? Do you know if the piston has 3 rings , as Honda CRF450L has ?

The Beta 500 RR-S does not have traction control. There is a "rain" setting but it only calms down the fuel mapping so that you have less power. As far as ABS there may be a way to install it aftermarket but it doesn't come from the factory.

I think it’s the best street legal dirt bike you can buy, but I don’t see it as the best dual sport bike, that would be my CRF450L. Everyone’s definition of a dual sport is different though, I like to load mine up with gear and go camping on lakes that are only accessible via single track or atv trails.

Yeah, maybe so, a true dual sport is hard to find. Not sure one has been made yet.

@@tennyis28 Lol, the reason I'm laughing at you is because my long time riding buddy has a 20'CRF450L and we've traded bikes several times while riding and gushes over how much better my Beta is than his heavy assed gutless wonder CRF450L. And I have to agree with him. Have you ever ridden the Beta 500? I didn't think so.

The only thing in its category that is faster is the KTM 690 & Husky 701 which are way heavier.

It's so much better, I love mine $600 cheaper and 9hp More the KTM 500. You will spend 1500 more on the KTM to even reach the hp of the beta and possibly pass the Beta but that's ok.

@@ZacharyUlrick I got the last 2020 in the Northwest in March out the door at 10,000 total including taxes. Beta USA and my dealer tracked it down for me. I drove 6 hr round trip for it.
