Beta Street Rescue

The medal of valor is the highest honor given by the SD Fire-Rescue Dept. It's presented to an employee who displays great personal courage in pursuit of a worthwhile objective though it places the rescuers in imminent peril. The medal of valor is presented to the crew of engine 2 - Capt. Kevin Easley, Engineer Abraham Hunt and firefighters Sean Arnesen and Skylar Duran for their actions in rescuing many residents during the January 2024 floods.
