Beta Xtrainer 300- Great Bike for Beginner Rider?

Is the Beta Xtrainer 300 a good bike for beginner riders, small riders, female riders? I took my bike out on a dreary, cold, trying to snow kind of day to explore the answers to these questions.

I‘m a 59 old boy and I’m small. I love MX and enduro riding and won’t stop what I love. my actual bike is a KTM SX 150 from 2016. it is to high and to aggressiv. Nice vid! Thank you!

This bike is great! I highly recommend it. I'm 55 and small and this is the perfect setup for me.

Awesome! Glad it was helpful. Funny, I made this video about 3 years ago. I still have the xtrainer and still LOVE it! I'm at 150 hours, use the bike to race and it's still going strong and still a great bike.

If this is a first bike I might consider a TTR 230. It has low seat height and electric start. It is a pretty easy bike to ride. The Xtrainer may be a better step up bike.

Nice review thanks! I'm vertically challenged and have been riding a Honda CRF250 for 12 years with no adjustments lol. A lower seat height would be a nice change though. Cheers!

Thank you! I am 162.5 cm tall with an 80cm inseam. I am not flat foot touching the ground but not tiptoe either. The bike is VERY manageable! Does not feel tall and is pretty light and easy to handle. I think you will find it easy to ride and a lot of fun.

Is it better to start with this or the beta 200rr? Do they offer a kickstart option for this bike?

I haven't ridden the 200RR so I couldn't tell you which is better to start with. There is a kick start kit available, I've been planning to install that on my bike at some point but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Have had 3 of these bikes. Really did not like the quality of the bikes at all. But they can facilitate a smaller /less tall rider. I was happier with late model used name brand bike ktm,rm,cr,kx w cut subframe and lowering link etc . In my opinion ypu get stronger much better bike but this may not be for everyone. . Beta just needs to step up the quality. Dont save much if have to upgrade

Would it be good for a beginner. I rode a 200 and man it threw me off the bike. The throttle was sooo touchy. I’m used to 450 quads and obviously totally different but I want a bike that won’t kill me.

The power delivery is super linear. It rolls on easy with no hard hit. As a result it's not intimidating. I think it's a great bike for a beginner. Was the 200 you rode a 2t?

@@OGMmoto well you made it look so easy so maybe. I’ve only ridden a dirt bike a handful of times. Pretty much been on 4 wheels for a very long time. The 200 was way to touchy. I didn’t like that at all
